Love it.
Flavors are as close to authentic Japanese as you can get in the states. Broths are rich (and of course salty) and the Green Curry Miso Broth is especially hearty. The pork shoulder in the Mini Steam Buns literally melts in your mouth, incredible. The head chef is an artist, watching his speed and care is inspring. The design is fabulous in layout and in beautiful one of a kind tables and chairs and in the simple but lovely decor. Plus it is the cleanest restaurant in Park Slope. I have had many dinners here and many take out lunches and the quality is never less than excellent. Definitely worth the extra 2 bucks for the huge lunch special. Love it love it love it.

Right up there with the best ramen in NY
Thought this place was terrific. Right up there with Momo and Menchanko Tei. At first we were a bit worried that the dashi broth wouldn't live up to its tonkotsu ramen brethren, but it was absolutely delicious. The pork buns were on par with momo's, and for those who don't feel like making a trip to Manhattan to have an hour wait will be pleasantly surprised by this place. I don't know why the reviews below would be negative at all. Everything was really top notch, and I'll definitely be back.

How long does it take to be polite?
I've been to this restaurant a couple of times and I just ordered delivery for the first time. Eating in is okay, not great service, everyone seems a little scattered and disorganized, but it's not terrible and I'm not that particular. But I just called to place a delivery order and the guy who answered the phone made it seem like he was doing me a favor by taking my order. And how long does it take to say goodbye, really? Let alone, thanks? The food is okay, good to fill a need for ramen, but don't go out of your way.

Major Let Down
I chow on ramen often in the East Village, where there's a handful of places that are fantastic. Zuzu doesn't come close. Bland, bland, bland. Granted, I only sampled their signature Zuzu ramen, but I'll never go back. Way too expensive for 4th avenue and way too disappointing. Nice staff and decor, but a complete miss on food.

Salty, Salty, Salty!
Salty! Salty! Salty! The Ramens taste like they are loaded with MSG and as another reviewer said, I would have enjoyed a package of instant noodles more than the green curry noodle at Zuzu. Having been to Ippudo and eaten at many Japanese ramen shops in Tokyo, this place was a big miss. Going into the restaurant, we had high hopes for a place that could have become a frequent dining spot. Instead, we were so disappointed that we could not finish our meal and had to have a second dinner afterwards. The Green Curry noodle was way to salty even after pouring an entire cup of water into the broth. Every bite had to be accompanied with a big gulp of water. The Hot and Sour noodle was a bit better but still rather tasteless. The service was awful - After mentioning the saltiness of the noodles to our waiter, he did not seem to care and shrugged it off by saying "too bad." He could have but did not even offer to change it for another dish. The redeeming quality were the pork buns, but when you are a Ramen shop, missing on the Ramen is just inexcusable. After leaving three quarters of the Ramen in the bowl, we will definitely NOT be back.

I love Zuzu Ramen!
I am addicted to Zuzu! The pork dumplings, the seaweed salad and, my favorite, the Zuzu Ramen soup. I can't stop eating it. I love zuzu ramen.

not so good
I finally tried all of the ramen except the vegetarian one. All the broth are way too salty. I have to say I had them all delivered so it may taste different if you ate it at the restaurant. Also I just got back from Toyko so I am a little bias. The pork bun is okay.. so disappointed in Park Slope. Need better restaurants in the slope's...
