Avoid ordering via phone
I hesitated ordering in from Zucker's after reading another reviewer's tale of constantly getting an improper delivery. Well, I took a chance. I ordered a turkey sandwich with lettuce, tomato and swiss cheese. What I got was a pile of dry turkey on a bagel with nothing else. Amazing! Great food here, just DO NOT ORDER VIA PHONE.

Can't seem to get delivery orders right
Like many, I was extremely excited to see a big bagel shop open in the hood. the bagels are good, but for the third time in a row, they've messed up my delivery order. What blows my mind is that it is correct on the printed receipt. So, somewhere along the way they forget to put bacon on my egg and cheese (though didn't forget to charge me for it) and gave my wife a plain bagel when she'd ordered an everything (and yes, it's right on the receipt). And it took an hour to bring some bagels two blocks. The staff is nice and all, but please, get your act together. We're officially turned off for the time being.

If this is "THE" bagel shop...
Zucker's is a use we really need around here however it's just not good enough. It seems the staff doesn't "get" the cultural significance of the bagel and how the "sandwiches" should be prepared not knowing how to cut the smoked salmon or understanding that yes you do put red onion on it! (If there were just one old guy from the Lower East Side, you wouldn't have to explain how to make something every time...) The design of the store impedes service. From day one, the store looked messy because of its design. It is difficult to place an order and often crowded at the back of the store. A huge disappointment for such a great use. Hopefully things will improve with time.

great experience
Walking into Zuckers...I immediately felt a welcoming atmosphere. Before I even knew what I wanted to order, the staff was very helpful & knowledgeable about the different styles of smoked salmons. The Bagels are kettled boiled and made fresh on the premises. The variety of cream cheeses are too much to list here. When I got my sandwich called, The Traditional, I enjoyed it so much that i had them cater my morning meeting. Everyone loved it!

Great addition to the neighborhood
Love the vibe and the variety of salmons - so many choices and such great quality. In the winter, I was a big fan of their soups - but my new favorite lunch is dijon chicken salad on a bagel.

This place is great.
I actually had high expectations ā the first time I went to Zuckers I was picking things up for brunch and everything was great. So when I was on Chambers Street for lunch I thought Iād try it again. Whole wheat bagel, whitefish salad, nova and a tomato ā it does not get any better than this. This place is great. I now go out of my way to end up at Zuckers for lunch. Zuckers is the gold standard for brunch at our house and a pick up bagel. It's kid friendly, too.

Great place, good food, bad price
In short, the bagels are pretty good. Great selection of lox and homemade cream cheeses. Great "subway" decor. BUT, its way overpriced. Even for Tribeca, this place is a rip off.
