Zucker's Bagels & Smoked Fish

Zucker's has the best of everything! Real turkey (not boars head), clean delicious eggs, lighter, crispier bagels than most - excellent shrimp salad, tuna real tomatoes. This is real food - high quality -- and it's costlier than cheap junk. If you care about your health and the quality of the food you eat - this is the place.

Only felt compelled to write a review because of how much I paid for a plain bagel w/ flavored cream cheese...almost $4.50!!!!! it's a fancy bagel shop with mediocre bagels. i will not be returning.

I've tried a sandwhich for lunch and the traditional bacon egg and cheese and both were excellent!

It's tough to find good bagels in this area. Zucker's is by far the best. I have also had the breakfast omelets and tuna salad, all great. Clean, friendly establishment. Not your typical Midtown East lunch stop.

The bagels are very good and not as heavy and chewy as other bagels. The 41st & Lex location is very organized too; I placed an order for several bagels (some toasted, some not, various schmears, etc.) and the employees got each bagel right. All of us at the office were very happy. The coffee is great too. I'm glad they're in the area now.

I think the bagels are excellent and certainly on par with Essa Bagel and Daniel's. Like that they have at least four varieties of whole wheat as opposed to two like most places. Hope they introduce whole wheat onion and garlic at some point. Also glad they got rid of the 30 cent whole grain surcharge. I paid it but felt like a bit of a fool doing so.

This place just opened up near my office, and decided to try it. I ordered turkey on an everything bagel. I personally like my everything bagels with everything on it. This bagel does not come with everything on it and lacked taste. Also, the turkey which had no flavor (must not be boars head) lacked taste. The final blow to my lunch expereince at Zuckers was the price. Like I mentioned above, I ordered turkey, lettuce, cheese on an everthing bagel, a small bottle of water and one small bag of potato chips. The price? $13.17 - what a robbery. I could have gone across the street for the same sandwhich and pay $6.95 - I will not visit Zuckers again.
