Fortuitously found this neighborhood place post-Sandy and totally plan to return. We got this appetizer special that was "sardines on toast" but so much more than the name lets on. Picture beautiful pieces of fish draped over just-scorched bread slices, with white bean and yogurt, olive oil, lemon, and a handful of fresh herbs. Really, every dish we had featured thoughtful flavor combinations and quality ingredients and, though never a given at restaurants with carefully crafted plates, filled our bellies. ALSO: No liquor license yet, so BYOB!
