From a Moroccan who knows Moroccan food

The food was excellent, reminded me of the real Moroccan food back home. I went with my American boyfriend who loved it. The place was so cozy and romantic. The waiter was awesome and very patient. The prices were reasonable. I would totally go back there and would definitely recommend it.

    very delicioso

i came to new york for a visit then my friend invited me to go to a moroccan restaurant which is zerza. first thing hit me when i entered wa the music. i really disliked the fact that an arabic restaurant playing latin music all the time .it was a weak point for the restaurant.however ,when i got my rib tagine i forgot about the music and i got busy eating some delicious food that will bring me back to this restaurant for sure hoping the music playing this time be moroccan or arabic.

Wonderful experience, we will go back

We were impressed by the food here. We've been to Morocco a few times and we miss it but we were so happy to know that we can get our fix of real couscous, bastilla and tagines here at Zerza. We will go back

    Awsome

Yes it couldn't be better! We went there last night for a friend's bday and the food was awsome, the cocktails excellent and the service was friendly and correct.

    Friday night dining

We dined at Zerza on a friday night. Surprisingly it was quite empty for a friday night and practically just a few tables were filled. It definitely doesnt feel like you are in NY and takes you away with all the quiet! The food was awesome, we werent rushed and the service was good. I would recommend it for a quite romantic night...No belly dancers on Friday!!!!!

    Consistently good

I had eaten here a few times over a year ago and had always enjoyed the experience, so I was surprised to hear the recent negative reviews. I returned last week and found that the food was as good as I remembered, the menu is slightly different, but they will cater to your dietary needs. The wait staff was very patient even with my hard-to-please-vegetarian mother. I would definitely consider Zerza to be a top choice for reasonably priced, flavorful Moroccan food.

    I won't go back!

I really didn't have a good time in Zerza. Food was cold, not good value, super SLOW service, waitress is not being friendly, white wine isn't cold when it's suppose to be cold. Chairs are not comfortable at all. I won't go back EVER!
