Romance withourt breaking the bank
I visited Zerza a couple of months ago. The food was great. The waitress was friendly and helpful. My overall experience at Zerza was delightful. It was quite entertaining to see people making a fool out of themselves trying to dance with the belly dancer. Everyone that night was having fun enjoying themselves. So I think this is a good place to spend a relaxing and romantic evening with a date. I was only disappointed that the tagine dishes were not presented in the traditional tagine dishes. And the place seems to be smaller than what you saw on their website.

Wonderful experience
I have been to Zerza twice now and each time it was a treat. The food is delicious and the service sublime. The atmosphere is great as well, although I would recommend that you asked to be seated upstairs as opposed to the bar area, it is much more intimate there. I highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.

Zerza is a wonderful experience
I love zerza, really cute decor, romantic date place. The waitresses and bartenders are very friendly. The music is great, (oriental salon!) they make excellent drinks, good sweet mint tea, smoking hookah in the window room is a nice touch. I especially like the lamb apricots served with couscous. Great food for cold nyc winters. Whether you are there to hang out and grab some drinks or have an intimate dinner this is a great place.

It's a Clear Winner
Absolutely breathtaking atmosphere of moroccan tiles, rose petal covered surfaces and wonderful music as the backdrop to a beautiful dining experience. Tasty mezze and Algerian and Moroccan wines do North Africa proud. Fluffy couscous, tasty tangines and WONDERFUL homemade ice creams make this lovely haunt a perfect getaway for the senses.

Pleasant
The staff were really nice and polite and they try their best to please the customer. The food is really yummy. Especially the stuffed sardine with rice. The portion is pretty good. Not too big and not too small. Perfect with the amount of money that you spend.

amazing place
the food is really delicious. We had a chicken bastilla and a lamb tagine and the meat was delicious, the dish very flavorful. The music is really nice and everybody was friendly : the host the bartender and the waitress were all very attentive. I will definitely go back !
