Must try
This restaurant never disappoints! The food is great, the pizza is the best pizza in the area, and the service is wonderful. It's a must try!

Not recommended
I have eaten at a majority of the Italian restaurants in NYC, by far this was the worst. I was attracted to the restaurant from the website which I thought was impressive. Then there were also a handful of positive reviews , Well that all changed after visiting this restaurant. I am going to get right to the point The Quality was poor, we were a party of 4 no one ate their meal. the waiter never asked why. save your money and your time.

Highly Recommend
I tried the Costolette Di Maiale pork and it was the best pork chop I ever had. Everyone in my group (approx. 15 people) raved about the food as they bought a variety of dishes from soup, pasta to pizza. The atmosphere is lovely as enough space is given to each table. Staff were highly attentive. I highly recommend this place!

Pasta nove, entrees zero
I had been to the restaurant last year, just had a pasta dish which was very good. This time a lady friend and I shared rigatoni with squash, peas and porcini mushrooms that was excellent. When the entrees came, she couldn't eat her baccala, which was overly salty and should not have been. My short ribs were underspiced and just not cooked long enough. I took home my dish and the following day, sauteed garlic, chopped a peeled ripe beefsteak tomato, added the left over shortribs and cooked, covered for an hour or so, until it acheived the tenderness that Zero Otto Nove should have served. Staff was friendly and nice, service excellent. If I go back, it'll only be for pasta.

Don't Waste Your Time
7 Waiters standing around gossiping not helping anyone. You can get way better food and service in NYC.

Pretty good
I work in the Flatiron district and was pretty excited when I heard that this place had opened. Had lunch with a friend and it was very good. The bread that you get before the meal is so warm and chewy and the crust so crusty, just wonderful. Salads were amazing, my friend got the arugula salad with lemon dressing, so fresh. Pizza also impressed. Mozzarella was nice and rich and creamy. It was also mesmerizing to watch the young Italian pizzaiolo at work. My only gripes are that I like my pizza crust a little more crispy and charred (this was kind of chewy) and the dark-lit Italian trattoria isn't really my schtick, but these are minor hiccups for what was otherwise an exceptional meal.
