true flavor gem in the city
Zereoue is a true city gem, offering Ivory Coast cuisine that you'll be hard-pressed to find elsewhere. The Ivoirien Mussels are divine, with a mix of spices that tastes just a little bit different with each bite. The Zereoue Mussels are a delicious alternative for anyone who does not like spicy flavors. The portions are generous, with a full order of mussels sure to fill you up. I loved the Kedjenou (chicken stew). The restaurant was not serving one or two things on the menu the night I visited but I can't believe some reviewers complained about this. I think it shows true culinary integrity that the chef would prefer to take an item off menu rather than cook it with subpar ingredients. All the good NYC restaurants do this. I look forward to going back to this restaurant!

First time here, and I'd go back
Came here with my boyfriend because we had a Restaurant.com coupon and we were very satisfied. The escargot to start off as an appetizer was delectable. I had a delicious chicken dish with some interesting grain called attieke. My boyfriend liked his fish though thought it was a little bland. But we decided to treat ourselves too and ordered this $22 bottle of trapist ale (which is made by monks!) and it was a great complement to our food and very refreshing. The waitress was polite and attentive as well. It is a bit pricey - would have been $100 for 2 people before our discount, but we'd definitely go back (hopefully with another Restaurant.com coupon).

Eat Someplace Else
The bar is loud, the food is overpriced and mediocre and the service is indifferent. Why anyone would consider returning to this place is a mystery.

Not recommended
Atmosphere: unpleasant, service and ambience: poor, food: not worth the price. One can get much better value at any number of restaurants.

A waste of time and money
For what they give you (when it finally arrives), the restaurant is overpriced and underwhelming and the service is poor to nonexistent. There are so many good restaurants in NY with service to match. We will spend our time and money elsewhere.

Oh my goodness!
Had a very poor experience here. Servers were inattentive and frankly the food was bland and overpriced. Was hoping for a new experience and instead got an enormous dissappointment. I would recommend this to no one.

Best rack ' ever had
I have visited many establishments around the world and this will rank as one of the tops. The "rack" was absolutely wonderful. Better than Ireland. Nice South African wine. The chef was sensational. I will visit again on my next NYC trip.
