Subpar delivery
70 minutes and still waiting on my food. This has happened before - we received a cold pizza crumbled in the corner of the box and glued to the wax paper liner. I am not excited to open the delivery I expected to get 30 minutes ago (ordered on seamless), it'll likely be cold and indelible. It's a shame because the food is good and the staff is nice.

Our Favorite Restaurant
We have lived in this neighborhood for nearly four years, and without a doubt, Zaytoons is our favorite restaurant. The food is consistently delicious, the prices are affordable, the staff are wonderful and accommodating, and the atmosphere is excellent. Plus, we love that it's BYOB. We've never had a bad experience here, and we eat at Zaytoons a few times a month. Highly recommended!

Wonderful Birthday Dinner!
I took a large group (9) people here on Saturday night for my birthday dinner. I wanted somewhere affordable with BYOB. We showed up around 8:30 without a reservation, put in our names, and were told 1/2 hour (which I thought was great considering how small the place is). We went next door to grab a drink, came back 25 minutes later, and were promptly seated. Our waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. The food arrived quickly and was delicious! They had no issue uncorking at least a half dozen bottles of wine, and clearing beer bottles as we went. We ordered appetizers, mains, deserts, and Turkish coffee at the end, and for 9 people the bill came to $110! Amazing. The waitress even uncorked another bottle for us after the check so we could smuggle it into a neighboring bar :) It was a fantastic experience, I will definitely be back!

Heart Zaytoons--Hate Their Delivery Service
Zaytoons is great--the tabouli is the best i've ever had--and everything else tastes delicious. However, be warned. They are the most incompetent group of service people I've ever came across. They mess up my order every. single. time. For some reason, I keep ordering. It's pathetic. I guess they can get away with it because the food is so good. I've lived in the neighborhood for four years and have ordered from there at least once a week since.

disappointing
I ordered delivery of coscus and falafel. The coscus was dry with no sous , and the chicken inside it was even drier. Maybe good for someone who never had coscus before in his life. T falafel was fairly good, I just wish they d idnt put it mixed in the same plate with Homos and salad, since the falafel got so wet... (creativity: I pure the liquids from the falafel all over the coscus...Helped just a bit)

Disappointing take-out service!
I have been to Zaytoons on Smith multiple times and the food is great and cheap. I ordered take in tonight and had the worst experience. I waited an hour for my food, and then sent me the wrong item. When I called to politely let them know, I was first told they were sorry and would send another right out. A minute later I get a call back from the man who took my phone order who was claiming that I told him to I wanted to wrong item (bread with feta)! I told him I was allergic to cheese and definitely did NOT order anything with feta. He was rude and told me it was my doing. Meanwhile, this guy was taking orders and putting me on hold the entire phone call and english is not his first language. Another 45 minutes later, the new bread showed up....

Consistently good
I've been eating at Zaytoons for over ten years now -- it's one of the most consistently good places in the neighborhood. Tastes homemade, reasonable prices -- everything from soup to dessert is delicious! Not only that, but run by incredibly nice people. During the blackout of 2002, Zaytoons' friendly staff were stationed all along Smith St, down to the bridge, handing out (free) cold water. Great restaurant, great people! Thumbs up all around.
