Good food, great service!
We were Searching for a place to dine with family members that were in town from Michigan and VA and were originally heading to a restaurant around the corner but it turned out to be mostly a bar. As we continued our search-the menu at the door of Zana drew us inside. The waiter was very attentive and provided European like service. He suggested a nice Cabernet to start and we had the meatball appetizer , which was very tasty. We ordered a variety of entrees fom the salmon, shrimp & steak to the rigatoni. Everyone was pleased with their dinner!

Pretty bad
Wow, I have never written a review on this site, but felt the need to do so with this one. Went on Weds. night by myself, was sat right away, waiter was fine, but didn't really want to be bothered with me. Got the arancini- was like eating glue. Pretty tasteless. Ended up just ordering the margherita pizza- how can you mess that up? Dough was completely undercooked, at least it was fresh mozz, but super bland- ate 2 slices and left the rest- the waiter never asked how everything was. Would have had a 2nd glass of wine, but he never came around. Still amazed on how you can mess up pizza! Wouldn't return here....

Mmmmm...tasty
Very good food. The mussels are to die for and the salmon was just perfect. Good wine selection and friendly staff, only one thing bothered us. It was too dark but the waitress solved the problem. A winner. Oh, almost forgot. Try the pear tree martini. Delicious!

Pretty good!
Nice atmosphere. Friendly service and flavorful food. Loved the fresh veggies that came with our entrees! I had the mediterranean chicken which was quite good, though sauce was not light diet fare. Friend had the salmon which was very fresh and in a light tasty sauce that complimented the fish well. Both entrees came with perfectly cooked veggies, crisp and fresh. I could have eaten a plate full of the veggies alone! I don't even think there was any sauce on veggies. They were just cooked perfectly. While there was nothing cutting edge or amazing about this place the food was decent and flavorful. I'd try it again! Also nice outdoor seating.

Needs new management
This place is horrible portions are cheap but not the prices! Food is overcooked and tasteless and when asked to speak to a manager the waitress pretended to get "him" and then said he would not come. Will never go back!

Fantastic Salads and Chicken Special
Superb Salads and the Chicken Special, Fab! Great service from lovely friendly staff, wine not cheap, but typical of alcohol in NY.
