Expensive for what you get.
Not much for you money. The burger is good, but way too expensive for the size and the level of service. The people that run the place are nice but the one in Fin Dist is small and noisy. All in All I would not really see the point of going again unless in a bind, and I live just down the street.

Don't bother!
I don't understand what all the fuss is about, and how this place has the nerve to charge $8.75 just for the basic burger, (fries are extra.) The burger is just okay and it's fried! For $8.75 that burger should be flame-broiled to absolute perfection. The fries were just okay. We ordered a mix of regular and sweet potato fries that were bland and soggy. The service and atmosphere are both pleasant enough, but not enough to make me fork over $8.75 for a burger I could easily duplicate at home.

I wish it were as good as it used to be ...
For quite a few years this unique financial district shop had the best veggie burger and egg sandwich ever. And they were perfectly constructed so that one could pick them up and they didn't fall apart ... no matter how many ingredients they held. What happened to the person that knows how to build the sandwich with perfect balance? The past few orders I've had fell woefully short of the standards already in place, with big fat tomato slices that upset the once graceful equilibrium. What happened to the person who knew the difference between a ripe avocado and an indigestible one? I also have to wonder how much it cost to repair the slicer that was used on the avocado that was on the veggie burger that I just had delivered. I was hoping it was just a temporary lapse, but after several orders of the same ilk, it looks permanent. The fries are still good. Too bad that perfect veggie burger seems to be a thing of the past.

The BEST Egg sandwich
I stop by here several days a week because I crave the egg and cheese sandwiches. You cannot find a better one in the city! DELICIOUS!

Ridiculous Chicken Sandwich and Burgers!
This place has the best burgers and the best chicken sandwich in the city. Everything on them is perfect - the aged white cheddar, the muffin instead of bun, and the meat is top notch. I went on a streak ordering there 3-4 times a week for a couple months. Never got tired of it. Incredibly good. I have only eaten at the one in the financial district but i hear the lower east side location also has a pretty cool bar area. try this place if you have a chance.

A weekly must!
Amazing veggie burgers, and the breakfast sandwiches are a must-have! The fresh avocado is wonderful, and their commitment to fresh, organic food is much appreciated!

Incredibly Disappointing
After reading numerous good reviews, my boyfriend and I decided to give this place a try. All I can say is, don't waste your money. First of all, the burgers are incredibly overpriced. However, we were hopeful that perhaps the hefty price tag reflected a large, juicy burger packed with taste. Wrong. We tried both the turkey burger and the kobe burger and both turned out to be tasteless and completely average in size. Additionally, the sweet potato fries that we ordered were soggy, mishapen excuses for fries. I have never written a menupages review before, but I felt sufficiently deceived by thinking that I was going to get a good meal here that I couldn't let others be deceived as well.
