Old School Coffee Shop
This is what they used to call Coffee Shops in the good ole' days before Starbucks and $5 mocha lattes. It's a slice of old new york. Get an egg cream and burger and sit at the counter.

the last time i placed a delivery from here, it literally only took about 15 minutes for me to recieve my order. Great service

ZAFI's - A Tradition Needs an Overhaul
Zafi's - A Landmark of the 'Old Ways', a Greek Diner in the middle of a predominantly Jewish neighborhood, that's flourished for many years under the guidance of the Family that owns it. Sadly, as times move on, the Restaurant is over-heated, noisy and too busy to accomodate it's (60) seated customers and it's profitable local food-delivery business. At this very moment, I was calling them to order their famous 'Brisket' platter delivered to me - but they're not answering their phones (as usual) and I'm fed up with their B.S.. so I'm ordering from somewhere on Ave. A (much farther) but more dependable. Zafi - you failed a longtime customer too many times. If you're 'in the neighborhoo' - drop in for some abuse.

Zafis - great breakfast, fast and tasty
Want a satisfying breakfast..go to Zafis. Even when if is crowded - the breakfast comes out quick and made delicious. Good hot cocoa, too. Great price and the staff is very friendly. Eggs made right to your request.

Great breakfast spot! Small goldmine.
I have been eating here since I was a child. It is not IHOP, DENNY'S, etc...but is great in every way! However, it is an old school feel with an affordable breakfast that will blow you away. The staff is on point and extremely kind. This is an old fashione luncheonnette that will blow you away. Great spot, service and food. If you are in the LES, stop by for breakfast. You will enjoy. These guys make you feel right at home with their breakfast. Try their french fries with cheese and gray!

Every sunday .....
I try and make my way out to LES to eat breakfast at zafi's. my friend introduced me to this place 3 yrs ago and i havent stopped coming. everything ive tried on the money is great especially the breakfast. service is great, value is great (even better before 11am), atmosphere is great. nice old school feel, friendly staff.
