    Wonderful!

We had a beautiful meal at Yuva the other night.........which was definately worth wrting about. The service was astounding ambiance was cozy and warm but the food stole the show out of this world kebabs and the best chicken tikka masala I've ever had.

    Tasty!

Our favorite indian in the city by far. The veggie selections are really amazing and are as good at anything we have eaten at Tamarind. Service can be a bit spotty at times but it's so worth it for the food. The mgmt is incredibly friendly and we have never felt pressured to order anything we didn't want.

    Worst Service Ever

We have ordered and eaten at all of the Indian places on this street, and decided to try the last one, Yuva. Well it was not good. It took an hour and a half for our food to arrive. When we called to find out where the food was, the woman hung up on my wife. Once we got the food, it was cold, the bread was soggy, and totally not worth it. There are plenty of Indian places on this street to order from or eat at. With such options, stay away from Yuva.

    Excellent

One of the best Indian restaurants in the city. The Raan and Goan shrimp are a must. Outstanding service. Only issue we had was that the tables were a bit too small.

poor service and not frontier food !

when i ordered two kingfishers the waiter brought two large bottles already opened to the table. it would have been nice to have the option to choose the size. we waited for ever for the main course which was not frontier as i know it from delhi. the service was poor and the desert could have been opened from a can. not worth the cost. tamarind is still a better choice.

    Great food, not great service

The food was above average and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere, but the service was about the worst I've ever experienced in NYC. Host and bartender were trying to force us to buy a drink before we were seated, and I had the wine list and drink list shoved in my face 4 times by different waiters before I was allowed to look at the menu. Waiters were aggressively pushing extra items on us at every stage of meal. Waiters seemed to have no training whatsoever and committed every service faux pas I could imagine. Service aside, the chicken korma and aloo gobi were quite good.

    Excellent Indian food

Three of us had dinner at Yuva for the first time recently. We had been going to Chola right next door, but thought we'd try something different. The food was wonderful -- terrific appetizers, main courses, and breads. The room is attractive but became extremely noisy as more people arrived -- conversation became difficult even though the restaurant was not completely full. And it took several requests and 15+ minutes to get the bill (one of us had a train to catch), and when it came we were charged for 2 drinks we had not ordered. Why can't the service at Indian restaurants be better? (exception: Tamarind). I would return for the food, which is as good as that of Chola (i.e. excellent), but request a table that was a bit more sheltered.
