    Not Recommended

Being Indian myself and getting decent feedback about the place we decided to venture there. However, the food was average at best. Service was poor and I had to stand at the door for 10mins before being helped. On the whole the food was sub par and not worth the price. It was all about how much tip we would leave and it was really not a recommended place for anyone.

I have never reviewed a restaurant before. Yuva has the best Indian food I have ever eaten, especially in NYC. Everything exceeded my expectations. Will definitely go back...and then again..and again...and again....

    My New Favorite Indian Restaurant

Yuva is an excellent restaurant. Their food is superb, and the service is very attentive. Everything I have had here has been outstanding, especially the fish dishes. Yuva is unique in that, unlike many Indian restaurants, they have a decent dessert menu, so be sure to save room (although it will be hard).

    'Mouth watering & heart warming'

This restaurant is so unlike typical indian restaurants. Yuva has a unique wibe, which is exceptional, of course the food, service and everything else is equally perfect in place. Its the entire experience. We only go here for Indian no matter how ever far we are, we just drive to get here ... coz we just know its totally worth it ;) I think, there aint any place, better in the city.

    Great food with awesome service

I am an Indian and been eating Indian food my whole life spanning four different continents. I feel that I might know a little about what good Indian food is like and IMO Yuva serves one of the best Indian food in the western hemisphere (definitely the best in NY). Unlike other Indian restaurants, the food is not greasy or too creamy/buttery, enabling one to overeat a bit without feeling too full or heavy. The presentation of each item is wonderfully detailed and reflects the kind of attention that the chef (who is from a very well celebrated restaurant in New Delhi, India) pays to each preparation. The owners and their entire staff are super courteous and nice. Their recommendations are always appropriate and they go out of their way to make each customer feel welcomed (a very welcome change from a lot of other Indian restaurants). For appetizers, I would highly recommend their kachori, crisp okra and crab dishes. For entrée, I love their malai kofta, chicken korma and black dal accompanied with Pudina Paratha (bread). My favorite dish at Yuva is their Vegetable Biryani (rice dish). Desserts – mango icecream and rasmalai are awesome. Forgot to mention their drinks – tell the bartender, what kind of taste you like and leave it up to him to pleasantly surprise you with an Indian cocktail or ask for his recommendations. If you are not very familiar with Indian food, try their weekend brunch special. For $14 per head (value: 5/5) you will get to taste most of the items mentioned above, in addition, to freshly prepared kathi roll (a wheat roll stuffed with hot paneer (cheese) or chicken). Lastly, if you like Indian food or if you are interested in trying Indian food, go to Yuva to experience what great Indian food with personalized service and attention feels like.

Exceptional food, service & ambience. Just spectacular. Loved every morsel. Their lamb pasanda is to die for. Heaven sent Indian hot spot. Loved it. A patron for life. Love the energy of good karma here.

    Not to ask anything better

i heard about this restaurent from one of my friend. so, i thought to visit. when i enter thursday evening with my friends at 8 pm the restaurent was packed. we had to wait 30 mins for our seat. the owners were so nice and taking care of every customers. i saw they were going to every tables and talking to the customers. the atmostphere was very lively. when we got our seat the manager came to our table with the wine list. he helped us to get the best wine. we started our appitizer with crab cake which is amazing. and we had okra crunch and kakori kabab. the kakab was so soft and juicy. very flavor ful. for our main course we ordered lamb chops, yuva platter, chicken vindaloo, goan shrimp and breads. the best view in the restaurent is inside the tandoor with that big flames. all the food was so good and this is the best lamb chops i ever had. the owner and the pretty wife came to our table and asking our comments about food. every body was looked so energetic. i didn't see a tired face even though it was 10 'o' clock in the night. then for dessert we ordered jasmine parfait it was out of this world. i never had before some thing like this. my friends and i were really enjoyed the food. and the lively atmostphere. this is the place i remember for long time. i suggest every body to go to this restaurent. wow its an amazing experience. good luck and bst of luck.
