Mind blowing flavours
I'm really critical of Indian food and have pretty let down on what NYC has to offer. But this is hands down some of the best Indian food I've ever had. I ordered the bhindi masala, chicken tiki masala and papri chaat. The bhindi masala wasn't swimming in oil, the flavour was clean and full. All though the tomatoes were a little big for my liking. The chicken tiki masala has just the right amount of creamyness followed by heat. The meat was tender and full of flavour. The rice accompanying was soft and sweet. Even the sauces that accompanied were clean tasting and full of flavour. Food came quick and I'm HOOOKED! So happy I ordered from here.

Top notch Indian
This place was recommended to us by a bartender in Macy's Cellar Bar and after our previous night's disaster meal at another midtown restaurant we gave it a try. High marks all around. Great menu, good prices, great food obviously cooked by a chef who knew what he was doing. And the service was excellent as well. Nice atmosphere. Will definitely be visiting again.

The place for Great Indian Chinese
Their new Indian Chinese menu is excellent. Takes me back to Mumbai where I used to get amazing Indo Chinese. I love their chicken lollipops, chilli chicken and shrimp fried rice.

Used to be good
Been here a few times. Used to be much better. Service was indifferent. Food was bland. Place was too warm. Good nan and the free appetizer with nine dips is pleasant. That's about it.

Great Indian food!
Yuva has once again become our favorite Indian restaurant in Manhattan. We've been to so many of them, but Yuva stands head and shoulders above them all. Everything we had was excellent. You really can't go wrong. But the Yuva Daal is the best anywhere. Their Tandoor grilled meats are wonderful. Not cheap, but worth it. Yum.

This is a total hidden gem w/awesome service
Let me start off by saying that my wife and I live in Midtown and really enjoy Indian food. Yuva is a great dining experience for several reasons. 1.) The food is terrific. The menu is diverse, and we've tried several different items and never had a bad dish. I'm not a big shrimp person, but the sauce for the shrimp curry is incredible. We order a Nan just to make sure we eat every drop. 2.) The service is great. My water glass is never empty, and every one is really friendly. They seem to cover the dining room by committee, so there is always someone ready to take care of you. 3.) The extras. Every time we've eaten at Yuva we've gotten a lot more than we paid for. They start you with out with Papadum and NINE different dips from mild to hot! We've also never ordered dessert, but have never left without eating dessert. They always give you something sweet, and usually fairly substantial at the end of the meal. In addition, last night they offered us two of the chef's specials for the day on the house. To summarize- the food is great, the service is excellent, and you are NEVER leaving hungry or broke.

Not Value for Money Meal
We were at Yuva for buffet. Yuva buffet is no where close to the buffer that Darbar Grill offers. Yuva's food quality is average, which any Indian food joint like Indus Express can offer. Though we got a larger selection for food but none of them tasted real good. We missed the desert of Darbar Grill so much that we even decided to go for darbar grill buffet just for deserts. For us this place was a complete turn down. - Shailesh
