I will never order food from there. Salmon was not fresh and the rolls were dry and untasty.

Ordered the lunch special - three rolls for 10 bucks - so value was ok. But sushi i received was dismal - of significantly lesser quality than other sushi places offering same lunch special in the area. Shrimp tempura roll came disassembled and, unexplainably, waterlogged. Shrimp were soggy, and was surrounded by ripped piece of lettuce leaf - certainly not what i expected. Spicy tuna was mostly mayonnaise and little to no tuna. Eel and avocado roll boasted three of 6 pieces that contained no eel, the other three containing mere fragments. Salad that accompanied the dish was only lettuce with literally one cucumber slice. Clearly little attention paid to and little care given to lunch special orders - certainly not a way to attract customer back for standard meal. After three rolls was still hungry - typical sign of an unsatisfying meal - will not order again.

The staff are always friendly and accomodating. The place is clean and the food is good. This place is dependable. I can call on my way home and my food is always ready for pick up. Great neighborhood place!

It isn't very difficult to find great sushi in New York City, but when I'm at home and I get a craving for some I look no further than Yummy - basically because they're nearby. Have I eaten better sushi - sure, you probably have too. But for the mix of price, availability, and selection coupled with a friendly staff, Yummy is the choise for Upper Eastsiders around First Ave.

Love this place! Prices are great, people are nice, delivery is fast and food is very good! I am very picky about my sushi and this is my "go to" delivery place. Their avocado salad is great. Fantastic roll is great too and not too pricey.

I was very skeptical as the place was not air conditioned and very small. I tried a specialty roll, regular roll, peanut roll (not that great) and udon soup. All were "good", meaning they weren't amazing but I'd definitely be willing to eat them anytime. Also, the prices are EXTREMELY affordable. I almost felt bad they were so cheap. Overall, I eat sushi 5x p/ week and would definitely be willing to put Yummy on my UES list.

This is my new favorite sushi delivery place, and I found it on here! The reviewers are correct -- the specialty sushi rolls are incredible (and big). My fav is the Godzilla Roll (Spicy tuna, avocado, scallion & tobiko with special sauce, deep fried.) Yes, deep fried. It's an insanse taste explosion. Also highly rec the Tiger Roll (Salmon, yellowtail, tuna, avocado, cucumber & with spicy sauce in white seaweed.) The rolls are always fresh, delicious, and artfully presented. But, oh yeah, they're maaad expensive, like over $10 a roll. If you feel like spending, you will not be disappointed.
