The name says it all - YUMMY!
This place is amazing, and it's open all night! Best place to cure your late night sushi cravings. The orange roll and tuna trio roll are a-m-a-z-i-n-g.

Yummy yummy!
oh wow the plum wine is such a killer! (good though, just gets you a bit drunk without realizing). My sister and I had 2 specialty rolls, the Cancun and the Alan...so delicious and fresh! Super cheap too! WE also had ordered a spicy tuna and yellowtail roll, which way SO much food! all in all, the bill came to $50 good steal! oh and the waitress was so sweet!

What Happened?!
Prices have gone way up! This place used to be good and affordable. Now I have no reason to go there-- at those prices?! Also, when they deliver, ask them to put sushi in a seperate bag from the hot soup and food--- I got half cooked sushi a couple times. It's too bad, this used to be ok value!

The best sushi i"ve ever eaten
With George at the helm, you're bound to get what you bargin for. The California rolls are, in my opinion the best ever. I always eat there because even though I never really liked shusi. I do now. The service is met with a young lady that is not afraid to talk to you and offer you a friendly hand. During these converations you will not only like the food but also the service that is rendered. With the overall atmostphere of total calm and seren, you may think that you have left earth for a while. I liked the experience and I'm hoping to get back there soon.

Cheapest japanese dinner for two in nyc
$35 tip included will get you dinner for two. I take the bbq chicken over rice everytime, served in a hot stone bowl. Best chicken stir-fry over rice i've had at any japanese steakhouse, i hear the beef is just as good. For $10 a plate you get a huge amount of meat and rice, along with miso soup and the classic green leaf salad covered in ginger dressing. I also figured a large bottle of hot house sake, buy one get one free, into the bill -- the best i've also had in town. Anyway you look at it, yummy village is the best deal in new york city. I try to eat there weekly.

Don't go on price when ordering sushi
The miso soup was not good and the sushi fish was warm.
