Yummy Taco

imagine what fast food mexican would taste like, then imagine finding out for very little money; then imagine you keep coming back for more, even though every time you eat it, you tell yourself you don't like it. the food, basically, is like bad sex. it's bad, but you still want it.

We order delivery from here a few times a week, mostly because the food is cheap, the service quick, and they have great marinated tofu for burritos/tacos/salads, etc. I agree about the sketchy condiments and can't say much on the quality of the meat, but speaking as a vegan who likes Mexican food this place has some tasty options. The Mexican pizza with tofu and black beans is also a favorite when I give in and want to have cheese.

Seriously - if you think this place is good something is wrong with you. Yes, they do press the tortillas - but thats all they have going for them. Beef is grizzle and odd - and the chicken in the tacos- um - odd dark meat for the most part - can you say meow? The guac is seriously subpar - cut with all sorts of stuff -and the sour cream has a strange texture. Its really sad that this place cant step it up a bit - this area needs a place like this that should be good - it could be a goldmine otherwise... How could management not even notice what they are losing out on?

Dont let this place deceive you by its look. FRESH tortillas pressed and grilled as you watch...this place is a diamond in the rough and I love it.

Food is average, portions have gotten smaller and prices have gone up this past year. Staff is friendly and service is good. Sour Cream and other condiments are scarce. Even if you pay extra portions are small. Salads are served soggy. The grilled chicken however is its high point, best anywhere. Worth a try unless your hungry.
