    Say what?

I knew it wouldn't be great, or even very good. But, I guess I didn't realize how wrong someone could make a burrito. Well, congratulations "Yummy Taco", you sure showed me! You did deliver this burrito to my door 15 minutes after calling (impressive!). But let's review the food. The chicken burrito was absolutely stuffed with overcooked and very dry chicken with rice/beans and, wait for it.. American cheese wrapped (not even wrapped correctly, mind you) inside a crispy tortilla. Hmm, ok. No lettuce or tomato inside, but rather in a styrofoam container so if you want, you can remove about half of the chicken/rice/beans mixture and add in some of the let/tom.... You also get some pre-prepared guacamole (they surely don't make this soupy stuff on premises. Looks to me like something ordered by an industrial foods purveyor such as Woolco or someone. Probably in a plastic bag and squeezed out with a dispenser... though I could be wrong?) to pour in there too. I tried to not think about all of the other places in the area with, not only decent Mexican food, but AMAZING Mexican food. but just let me say: there are many better choices out there. A stones' throw from Yummy Taco too. Go there instead!

    Great

Yummy is our no-fail go to whenever it gets late and cooking just isn't going to happen. We are vegetarian, and always end up satisfied after our meal. The prices are incredible, and the service is stellar. Consistently good lo-fi Mexican.

    Yummy, yummy, yum -cheap Mexican!

The Tostada Salad is super delicious. LARGE Crispy shell filled w/ lots of ingredients-salad, tomatoes, guacamole, sour cream, jalapeno, black beans, pickles. You can also add meat or chicken or shrimp for an extra $1 or so making this a tasty n cheap meal. Delivery is quick always less than 20 minutes. Tacos, burritos are also good. Food tastes freshly cooked and they always give you enough for a hearty appetite.

    yummy!

so it's not the best meal you've ever had, but for the price, yt delivers! the quesadillas are yummy, and so is the rice and beans, and veggie burrito. good vegetarian options, though I've never eaten any meat dishes. friendly, fast, cheap, and totally edible. on my list of favorite delivery spots for sure!

    Cheap but sadly inedible

I know this place has its partisans, and I'm not a food snob, but after trying a few dishes, I've concluded that I'd rather eat "Mexican" food from almost anywhere else, including fast food chains. It's cheap, and service is fast and relatively friendly, but that's about all that can be said for this place. It's too bad, because the neighborhood could really use an affordable, counter-service Mexican joint where the food is made with good ingredients and pride, like Rachel's Taqueria in Park Slope or Taqueria de los Muertos in Prospect Heights.
