It's all relative, but Yummy Taco is great at what they do
I think this is probably the least rude of the Flatbush Ave. Chinese-Mexican places. I like what they do - cheap, quick, tasty burritos - but if you go in here expecting anything near "authentic" you're going to be disappointed. The food is prepared right in front of you, and you can see how clean they keep all the prep areas. The ambiance is standard budget restaurant fare: cheap seats, not a lot of space, people coming and going at all times. Due to the location (right at the crossroads of several neighborhoods and a lot of train lines), they do get a number of surly, demanding customers. I wouldn't take a date here or anything, but I would order their food for a date night at home, snuggling on the couch in front of a movie.

my favorite chi-mex
This is by far my favorite chi-mex in Brooklyn. The shrimp is something special, way better than all the other chi-mex shrimp. The steak is great too. The guacamole is still, yeknow, not the real deal like real mexican guacamole. But if you get some shrimp tacos with sour cream, i think you'll be happy. If you're in the mood for cheap mexican takeout, go here!

Great Hangover food
Yeah, it Chinese-Mex, but surprisingly well seasoned and very cheap. You couldn't live off this stuff, but it's a great comfort after a particularly rowdy night out or a bleary-eyed walk of shame. I like the spinach burrito the best because they don't skimp on the greens and the idea of it eases my guilt about the obviously monstrous caloric intake. Quick delivery by a very nice man that won't judge you.

Slummy Taco
Ick. Ick. Ick. There is nothing resembling "real" Mexican food here. Guac thickened beyond recognition with sour cream/fillers, tasteless pico de gallo, sub-par cheese. I could go on and on, but won't. "Mexican" food made by Chinese people with no flavor. Stay away.

Exactly what its name suggests
Really good food, big portions, for cheap. You really can't go wrong.
