I've eaten here about 5 times. It's a tiny shop. I like the place and the people are friendly. I've tried the sushi and the hot food. Everything is yummy. The curry is very tasty. I see the other reviews saying the place is not good, but I didn't have the same experience. I plan on going back.

I work in Roc plaza, I'm a big sushi lover and have never had a bad experience with it.. which is probably why I love it so much. The sushi here, however, is overpriced and not fresh. The rolls are mostly rice and the salmon and tuna are not good quality at all! Ni ether is the avocado (which is always brown there)

Well, after being greeted each morning by the "Yummy Sushi" sign at the Rockefeller Plaza station, I finally tried a delivery order. I was pretty excited when I read the menu, as some of my favorite usually "customized" maki combinations were listed as standard rolls on their menu. Great! Yummy can be ordered via their own portal (with a neat "ticket" that lists your choices) or via Seamless Web, so, well, so far, so good. Then, the lunch arrived. The scent of ammonia was pretty strong, but my hunger persisted and I hoped that it was just the result of some lingering cleaning solution in my office. The seaweed salad, a rather inocuous selection, generally, seemed to be sitting in 1 1/2 inches of some sort of bleach-scented slime, the tuna sushi was discolored, leathery and had an odd scent that I can't quite describe, the triple spicy roll was crackling and dried on the outside, and the "salmon-cucumber" contained neither salmon nor cucumber, but rather yellowtail tuna and radish. I actually consumed the "salmon-cucumber" (yellowtail-radish) roll, though each piece fell apart when I tried to pick it up. The other items? I just had to toss. At the cost of $27.00. Lovely. And not yummy!
