Decent
I came to try out the mongolian beef and didn't like it. While I respect that each restaurant has their way of preparing a dish, I hadn't had tried a mongolian beef with as much sauce as Yummy House and I wasn't a big fan. They weren't flexible with giving me crispy noodles instead of white rice and I heard them turn down another customer who was trying to get something else. While there is nothing necessarily wrong with that, it would have been a huge plus if they had. The atmosphere was decent, nothing extravagant but its nice and comfortable. The lunch menu seemed like a good deal but I was determined to try the mongolian beef at 10.50...won't be coming back.

Not Very Good Any More
Hadn't ordered from them in years but tried again. Seems to be worse, watery Hot and Sour Soup - clumps of tofu as if broken by hand. Shu Mai smelled strong and strange (shrimp), even before I opened the dish up. Chicken and Shrimp Dinner Special as if shrimp and chicken had been cooked hours ago and just mixed together with some sauce after I ordered. The shrimp was dry and hard and had no taste??? The chicken was dry and had no taste??? Used to be better when they first opened. I took a moment to calculate tip and the delivery man barked at me, $7.53 and made a face. I said I was just trying to figure out the tip. No need for his scorn.

Yummy Is Nummy!
I don't think I'll be going back to any of the other local joints after ordering from here... Light, flavorful, clean-tasting...maybe MSG but I could be wrong. Best Sesame Shrimp EVER. Huge shrimp, terrific sauce. The BBQ roast pork appetizer was fresh and tender, not the usual hard, gray, aged slices you get at other places. Shu mai not terrific. Best wonton soup in the EV: those nice, light Cantonese wontons that are so hard to find around here. Put a bowl of the soup together with some of that roast pork and the broth is delicious. Scallion pancakes a touch doughy, but really good. It costs a dollar or two more per entree than the usual nabe joints, but it's well worth it and delivery is superfast, so tip the guy amply, especially on cold or wet night.

Above average chinese
I love love love their lunch specials. Rice and the meat come in the same container, very tidy. I have a feeling their kitchen is clean. Food is not too oily (for chinese, that is). Really like it!

I really like this place
As for the other reviews ....to me when you go to a dumpling place get dumplings! That is what is really yummy here. Casual atmosphere. Service is a little non attentive because the wait staff tends to be a little over loaded and busy. A great place to just eat and affordable meal and have a chance for conversation in peace. Relaxed and in an easy to get to location. I really like this place.
