    EH.

I really don't understand all they hype around this place. Sure, it's nice. (Decor. It's just plain "nice". Not ugly, not ultra-fancy.) The food is nicely presented (they care, which is nice). The food tastes ok. To me, not so tasty, and not so bad. Just not really that satisfying based on the prices. I've had the pad thai and some salads here. They're all ok. I wanted to like it here, so I ordered the PT twice. It just seemed too sweet for my taste, and very "American". Maybe it was just the dish. The service is ok. They're eager to clear plates, which is always nice, but why remove my hot sauce after five minutes only for me chase someone else down to ask for it again? I was finished with my meal after about 5 min (wasn't that hungry or impressed to have more than a few bites), when they didn't take my plate for another 25- then my friend was NOT finished and they kept trying to take hers away. (!???) I suppose they're not so great at multi-tasking. Eh. I'll pass next time.

    Long Live Yum Yum!

I love this place and we eat here at least once a week. I have to say I love some of the things that others have whinged about - I find the atmosphere is great, just noisy enough and very cosy nonetheless. Also, though some of the waitresses are a bit kooky, they're super efficient and fast. The food is delicious - I have about 3 favourites I rotate between now having tried so much from the menu, and the prices are very reasonable. I'm a big fan of their cocktail+appetizer for $7 thing as well. Yum Yum - I love you!

    Average thai!

I've never had average thai before, but this place was the first. Know how so many chinese restaurants exist, and like 80% are pretty average or bad? Well, with the abundance of thai places these days, this is the place that says "Hello! We have average pad thai's and the like! We're nothing special, but you'll like our food enough to be just satisfied!" Well, everything was average, the king chicken was dissapointing as teh peanut sauce left a weird aftertaste. But Singha's beer kicks!

Food was good but Service ...

The lunch special is great. For 6.50-7.00 dollars (depending on your entree) you get an appetizer, entree and drink (you get to choose 2 complimentary items from a list of 4) HOWEVER ....the service is lacking .. they are very unattentive even after making eye contact with the waitress' several times. This was during busy AND non busy hours. Good and decent sized dishes for a cheap price but the service can definitely be better! I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there.

    Midtown Thai

This place is OK, despite two very big problems. The first problem is that it is cramped and loud. Tables are shoved so close together there is no such thing as a private conversation. Also, no matter where you sit, plan on being jostled and shoved by people coming and going. The second problem is inconsistency. Some meals are outstanding. Others are bland and disappointing. A friend says the Asian chicken salad is the best thing on earth. My Pad Thai was a glop of noodles dumped on a plate. Prices are reasonable. Service tends to be forgetful when the place is busy. You'll get an OK dinner at an OK price. And if OK is good enough for you, you'll be OK.

Great food at a terrific price!

We stopped for a post theatre dinner on Saturday, January 12. Originally wanted pretheatre lunch, but NJTPK exit ramp construction delayed us enough to make that impossible. The food was fresh, crisp, tasteful, delicately spiced, and the price couldn't be beat. The service was fast and friendly. The place was clean, plenty of customers, yet no waiting for a table. I'll definitely return, and recommend to family and friends.

    Amazing food for the price

This is my favorite Thai restaurant in the neighborhood and their seafood fried rice is really great.
