Nice ambience...
The ambience, appetizer and cocktails were great. the cuban sandwich was less than stellar but the skirt steak was tasty. i love the location and on a nice summer night with the doors open to the sidewalk is an experience.

Great food and drinks, poor service
I loved the food at Yuca, and it was so nice to sit outside near Tompkins square park. However, the hostess wasn't very friendly--took a while to seat us even though there were obviously seats available. And then the waiter took a long time getting to our table and taking our order.

A Total Hit!
Went to Yuca last night with a somewhat large group and LOVED IT! We enjoyed 2 for 1 drink specials along with delicious Mexican tapas! Yuca is the perfect place to do dinner and drinks with a large group. Prices were fantastic, atmosphere so FUN, and food to die for! We'll be back very soon!

Nice Brunch...service?
I love this place. It looks cool, the drinks are great and so is the food. But when will they get their service together. When ever I go there theres always something wrong. Once they forget to bring to your drinks and cultery, another time the server get your order completley wrong and asking for the check takes for ever. Again, I really think Yuca is a great place, I just wish they will get it together there and stop spoiling my fun.

Super Cool
OMG...Loved it! It was a girls night, each of us had Mango Mojitos to die for...the service was good, really down to earth service. Food was really tasty, we only had apts. & drinks, but it was absolutely tasteful. Its a keeper, I would definitely go back.

Delicious Food, Great for Groups
I've been to Yuca twice in the past month and can't get enough of the tasty food, warm service and great ambiance. I went once with 7 other friends for a birthday party. We must have ordered everything on the tapas menu and were delighted with each dish. The portions are also larger than other tapas restaurants and their paella is really flavourful. I highly recommend the bbq ribs, they're not listed on this menu but they are divine.The staff remained quite attentive despite us ordering drinks every 5 minutes; they have an amazing 2-for-1 happy hour every evening which ends at 8pm. This includes all of their mojito, sangria and caiprinha drinks so it's quite a deal. Yuca is a great choice for a celebratory or a casual dinner. I can't wait to go back!

Great food and great dessert
The food is excellent, i have tried pretty much everything. What i find most suprising is some of there desserts. The mango pineapple cheesecake is amazinag as well as the coconut flan. Whats also great about this place is that there open pretty late.
