bummed!
I thought I'd give Yoshi a go because someone recommended it - and Im totally bummed! My pieces of yellowtail were chewy and hadnt been 'bled' well and the $10 Dragon Roll was ALL rice. I'm willing to pay when it comes to good food, but pleeeeaaase dont rip me off. Ive had great sushi in the LES and this just teaches me that when you find a good thing, dont quit it.....

Great Neighborhood Joint
Most of the reviews are right on. Good fresh food at a decent price. Delivery is always fast. The wait staff is always very nice and helpful. This is not a first date place, but one that is confortable and nice.

happy with my experience at yoshi
i've lived in the neighborhood for years and never tried yoshi until last night. i did keep things simple when ordering, but was very happy with the results. would i travel for it? nah. but if you're in the neighborhood, give it a shot. i'll definitely be back!

great place, cheap, for LES sushi
i order take out here a lot, always fresh and good and at a great price, best deal in LES for quality sushi.

love the yellowtail
went there on saturday close to 9pm with friends the place was still packed. they managed our expectation with giving us a good approximation of the wait for a table. waiter was quite helpful with the seating which was a little tight when it is busy. the sake was pretty good. the portion of food was unexpectedly generous in relation to the price. it was tasty and again much better than expected. i ordered yellowtail sushi a la carte and i got a huge piece, and it tasted sooo good! i'm a bit biased because i'm a huge yellowtail fan, and not opposed to taking friends to this joint. yummm!

Love it
We love it here so much we come all the time. After work I go for some miso soup and when my b/f comes over we eat dinner there and we love it. The people are so nice and the place is to relaxing and romantic.The food is what keeps us going back for more!

Best in the Area
If you live in the area--this is def the best sushi place. Prices are cheap, food is good and service is attentive. If I didnt live in the area--I wouldnt travel here--as there are far better places I prefer in other areas. But the portions are generous and it is DEF fresh--AND they deliver fast. I say--try it.
