Best delivery diner food on the UES
I've been ordering breakfast and dinner once or twice a week from this place for years now. The delivery guys are incredibly prompt, the food is always still warm to hot and I've never been disappointed. Their omelettes are fantastic, the smoked salmon deluxe platter is big enough to feed 2. A sure place that delivers a quality quick meal.

subpar food
I don't know what other people ordered, but I had a delivery order that was utterly inedible and had to be thrown out. French Onion Soup did not have swiss cheese- it tasted like cheddar. Fries were undercooked and soggy. Restaurant ignored my request for no fruit and no nuts on the Ice cream sundae- and got the ice cream wrong too. Chocolate sauce (not hot fudge was used). Cannot imagine the actual diner being any better- since it was an issue with the quality of the food.

Good So Far
Ok so I was in the mood for a good burger. I am new to the neighborhood and I am trying to check out new places to order in from. I picked the portobello mushroom burger and I added avocado since i also saw that they offered avocado burgers. Since they had such a selec]ion of burgers I figured that that was their specialty. Instead of fries I opted for onion rings. What an order I know. But what I look at is the service and price first. The food came pretty quick and it came out to $12.50. Not too bad. The onion rings were so good. The grilled mushrooms were good, the avocado was fresh and delicious, the burger it self wasn't anything to talk about. I'll be ordering more so I'll be back with another review. Final verdict this time around is: good so far

These seniors know how to cook!
I don't know what all the $'s on here were about ... this place was pretty inexpensive and AMAZINGLY good! Sure, it's basically an early bird special/Del Boca Vista senior citizen diner in the middle of the Upper East Side but who cares? The food is great, relatively cheap, and the portions are generous. Would love getting food from them if they deliver from now on and a pop in here and there wouldn't be bad, either. This is an excellent choice if you're just looking for good food with no atmosphere expectations.

Consistent quality food & great service
We love going to the Yorkville diner. We can always count on good consisent food at a reasonable price. Most of all though, is the friendly service by the staff. Whenever we move from the area, we will surely miss this place!

I love these places
We try to go to diners where ever we go. This one is great. We went for dinner and for bunch. Both times the food, service and prices were excellent. We had friends with us who are very particular about their food and they were quite satisfied. On each occasion we had plenty of food to take away. I highly recommend this place.

Great food, ultra-kid friendly!
We live a couple of doors away with our toddler, and we consider the Yorkville Restaurant alone a reason to stay in the neighborhoo0000 (my toddler typed those zeroes). The food has consistently been fresh, good, and a value for the Upper East side, the bathroom is clean and has a clean changing area for little ones, and the staff is so nice. Please go and keep them open - you'll be glad you did!
