Best chinese buffet in town
cheap prices with large selection; ranging from a salad bar, dim sum, hot soup, variety of chinese dishes. great spot for a short lunch break. the line gets long but it moves quickly.

Good Bubble Tea
I got some bubble tea here the other day. It was pretty good. I will definitively go back there again.

Excellent Downtown Chinese Fast Food
Where else downtown can you go to a Chinese buffet and get Chicken Chow Fon, Baby Bok Choy, Nappa Cabbage, Chinese Eggplant (sometimes), plus Spinach Pie, and Green Salad and Kiwi Fruit? And a lot more? Yips on Beaver street has great variety and a very pleasant staff. Plus the free can of soda. Whenever I have time I pick up lunch there. I just wish they were open at dinnertime!

A diamond in the rough
I was very impressed with both areas of this place. upstairs, the food is hot and portions are generous, and wrapped and ready to go in SECONDS: faster food than the "fast food" BK next door. Downstairs, you get great deals if you come after 1:45, it's like 4.35 a pound. even if you come before that, it's 5 and change, and you get a free can of soda. they don't change their options much from day to day though, so you pretty much know what you're going to get. the people are courteous, and the service is FAST. the food itself? Well, it's not GREAT, but it's pretty good. Definitely worth it.

Best Value In The Area
No "atmosphere," and the caffeteria-style upstairs is crowded (but VERY fast). The upstairs daily lunch specials aren't gourmet-Chinese, but are quite good, and the prices can't be beat. The downstairs buffet offers dozens of Chinese, Italian, Latino and salad choices and is priced by the pound (with free can of soda). Whether in a hurry or dining inexpensively Yip's is a good choice for tasty food.

totally servicable
no-frills food, cheap and quick. depressing atmosphere but, let's face it, no worse than eating at my desk.
