    Best Octopus in town!

Great food! Great service and atmosphere!! Love the octopus esp, its so amazing.. Ive tried everything on the menu and i cant find one thing i didn't like. Come here all the time and highly recommend for everyone to try. Really good mixed drinks & wine variety and also amazing chocolate cake! The owner is a cutie & ladies you should come in for some eye candy., the manager is a cutie also :)

    Very Fresh and Excellent food

We have dined in many Greek restuarants in the city but nothing beats Yiasou. Since discovering Yiasou we do not bother dining anywhere else. The food is always exceptional, fresh and seasoned perfectly.

    The best!

This is one of my favs!!! the food amazing! everything from the delicious octopus to the tender lamb chops are always prepared to perfection. The staff that works there is kind, fast, and helpful. It's most certainly a delight to dine with Yiasou!

    no third strike

What was a decent go to a couple of years back has become a self serving temple of arrogance and mediocrity. Pretentious in it's hosting, indifferent as to preparation and degree of doneness, it currently reveals itself in bottom of the barrel house wines by the glass.

    Bland and overpriced

I grew up eating and cooking Greek - this barely qualifies! But even allowing same grace on authenticity, considering no one who works here is actually Greek, the food was disappointing. Bland, boring and not even a little bit worth the cost. The only acceptable thing was the spanikopita, but even that wasn't great. Service was lacking too, so I would suggest you head to Queens to satisfy a hankering for Greek food.

    Best fish in town!

I have been coming to Yiasou for over the past two years ever since my wife and I have moved to Brooklyn. The food is very delightful, the octopus appetizer is by far my favorite. The fish are fresh every time we order it. The Lavraki (branzino) fish is my wife's favorite fish which comes with these potatoes that are very tasty. They will greet you like family every time you walk in, and the service is wonderful. I would recommend this place for a great dinner experience!
