Excellent, excellent!
By far the best sushi/sashimi restaurant in the neighborhood. Prices are unbeatable. You can't go wrong with it--a true gem hidden along Second Avenue.

Wow
I have been eating sushi everywhere around the city, about 3x per week for the past 15 years. This is on par with the best I've ever had.

Excellent Food
Excellent authentic Japanese dishes and highest quality sushi. The owner is the sushi chef and mans the sushi bar. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. Highly recommended.

Authentic and very good.
This locartion has changed hands so many times, I hope this place stays around for a while! It is a family run japanese restaurant that is always fresh and now very reasonably priced. You can get a dinner bento box for $19.00! Sushi, Sashimi, California roll, rice, soup, edamamme or salad, hijiki, etc. Outstanding for the price and fish is always fresh. Cannot be it!

Great bento box value
They have a great Bento Box lunch special right now for $8.50 that's hard to beat! -6 California rolls -4 Chicken wings -Miso soup -edemame -rice -bean cake -salad It was fresh and well presented and quite filling. My only criticism was that the service was a tiny bit slow -seemed like they were shortstaffed. Definitely will eat there again if that special stays around.

Really great Japanese if you can afford it.
It's pricey for the area, no question. Quality is really great, menu has some interesting items on it. If you want sushi, stick with the sushi combos - the rolls are nice, but overpriced. Fish couldn't be fresher!
