Great flavors and great prices!
I've eaten at Xie Xie (shay shay) 5 or 6 times now and it's the best new addition to the neighborhood in a long time. It's a cool looking spot, but don't let the trendy appearance deter you from trying it. The food is absolutely top notch. The menu is not very large - only 6 or 7 selections in either sandwich or salad versions - but this allows them to concentrate on flavors and quality. And you get both no matter what you order. The BBQ beef sandwich and the pork mini sandwiches are scrumptous and I've had both a couple of times. Today I had the fish sandwich and it is a piece of pan fried fish served on a baguette with the flavors of Grav Lox; mustard and dill, LOTS of yummy dill, with sauteed onions and a hint of cillantro. DELICIOUS. I have tasted the chicken sandwich and the Lobster roll...both of which had tremendous flavors. And it's the flavors and textures that keep me coming back. There's definitely an Asian influence to the cooking, but it is calibrated to Western palates in the most creative ways. I recommend it to everyone and I have already brought a number of friends who also are now raving about it. Xie Xie is a winner in Hell's Kitchen!

Amazing. :)
Eating at Xie Xie just made my day. The sandwiches are amazing - tried the BBQ beef and the fish. Could not be better. Textures, flavors, everything perfect. Well done!!

Run don't walk!
This place is fresh and amazing! I live in HK, and have eaten my way through the neighborhood =) Out of all the various places and cuisines found in and around 9th Ave., Xie Xie serves up flavors that you will not find anywhere within miles! The pulled pork sandwich is awesome, BBQ beef is unreal (and big), and the 1000 year old ice cream sandwich is unlike anything I have ever had (it has a liquid, salted carmel center y'all)! Please check this place out, and tell your friends how much you love it so fabulous places like Xie Xie stay open.

Delicious Sandwiches
I just ate at Xie Xie for the first time - absolutely delicious. I had the BBQ Beef and it was just a perfectly balanced sandwich. I would have been full enough (for lunch anyway) if I had stopped there, but the other sandwiches coming out looked too good, so I ordered the glazed pork - also fantastic. The cilantro worked perfectly with the sweet pork. Definitely going back in the near future.

Wonderful, Thank You Xie Xie!
My husband and I shared three sandwiches: the BBQ beef glazed pork and braised chicken. We agreed that the beef was our favorite - but each sandwich was wonderfully tender with exotic flavors and an interesting array of ingredients. People sitting beside us said they enjoyed their lobster roll and BBQ sandwich as much as we enjoyed our meal. We finished with the very tasty 1000 Year Old Ice Cream Sandwich – yum! We will be back soon to try the fish sandwich and lobster roll (which, btw, is very reasonably priced at $14.00 – we recently paid $27.00 for one in a downtown restaurant).

Outstanding
I've been here twice now. I had the beef and the pork sandwiches, and I have to say both were out of this world. These young guys really have a hit on their hands. Sandwiches are tasty and obviously full of the finest and most flavorful combinations of interesting ingridients. The place is a bit nosy & trendy, but of course I'm a little over 60, so that just may be me. Many young folks frequent the place, and the service is friendly, and quite efficient. Bravo. I'll be back over and over again, in spite of the fact I'm no longer in my 20s.
