Really authentic Vietnamese Food!
One can judge how authentic a Vietnamese restaurant is by tasting two dishes: Pho or the nuoc mam used for Bun dishes. Both are excellent at this restaurant. The pho isn't loaded with MSG like others. And the Bun Xe Lua is quite remarkable. Best I've tasted in the City. Definitely worth a try!

perfection
this place is one of the hidden gem vietnamese restaurants in chinatown area. the other popular ones are over crowded with tourists and this one is more quiet. the pricese were considered to be higher than a typical viet place but since the economy is looking bad and everyone else raised their prices ....xe lua isnt expensive anymore. the pho is great here. guarantee that once you go ...you'll be back for more. another great thing is the strawberry smoothie. its $4 but its the most amazing drink ever. ive also tried the salads under appetizers. and their spring rolls are delicoius and super cute. the service here is always amazing. and for once, a restauarnt in chinatown has a decent bathroom that doesnt rot of old urine! ive gone here over and over again porbably about 20 times by now! i love it!

i eat here quite often for lunch since i work in the area- staff is authentic vietnamese and so is the cuisine. i think it's one of the cleaner viet places around.

Don't judge a book by its cover!
At first glance this place seems tacky & crowded from the outside. First step in & I proven wrong. Although you may have a couple people in the back trying to hit on you, the service is great. The food is prepared quickly and tastes delicious. The atmosphere is fantastic. from the beer bottle chandelier to the humorous signs and designs all over the restaurant, you'll feel perfectly comfortable with your friends or with your family.
