At least twice a week I order out for lunch or dinner here. Great food, always consistant, always delicious. Wondee Siam II (up the street) has a more attractive atmosphere and takes credit cards. Both highly recomended.

On recommendations of my fellow MenuPages readers, we stopped here for an early dinner tonight. Service was wonderful, very friendly...with suggestions and offered to alter the degree of spicyness. Enjoyed the most delicious steamed dumplings that I have ever eaten. Food was fresh and tasty, service very attentive and the price...unbelieveably inexpensive. Who cares that there are no linen tablecloths or cloth napkins, this place is a real find. Can not wait to return.

I work in the neighborhood and eat here at least twice a week. I've tried nearly every dish on the Lunch Special Menu. You get a nice salad with the entree. The food is excellent. I have never been disappointed! Its fun to sit near the window, enjoying my lunch and watch the pedestrian traffic on Ninth Avenue! I especially love the Royal Ginger dish--loaded with shitake mushrooms, ginger, vegetables, your choice of chicken, beef or shrimp in a nice light sauce with a beautiful side of perfect rice. Stop by and see for yourself!

My entire office orders from this place! They have great flavorful dishes that taste very authentic. I love the Yum Woon Sen, the soups, and also the Beef Salad is to die for. I order from here at least once a week but crave it everyday.

I discovered Wandee Siam II (9th Ave. bet. 53rd and 54th) before one of the waitresses told me that Wandee I is located across the street (9th Ave. bet. 52nd and 53rd). However, Wandee II is my favorite. Nothing beats their Pad Thai or Curry dishes. Nothing! I eat there with co-workers or get take out once a week. (I even bring some to my mom in N.J. She loves it.) I've tried just about everything on the menu at Wandee II. The only thing I don't like very much is their squid. In my experience, Wandee I is very curteous and friendly, and Wandee II is not. Still, both restaurants have absolutely the best food in the Manhattan Thai cuisine district -- and that isn't just my opinion...

Now, I was just like you. I was on menu pages looking for the right Thai place that would deliver to my office. This place is it. The food has a very fresh bold thai flavor in all its dishes and the soups are also excellent. Don't expect to pay with a credit card unless you're gonna spend at least $30 bucks because the restaurant does not have a card machine.. they will have to go to another restaurant to process it. Regardless, I ordered with other coworkers to examine the different foods.. and every order was fresh and delicious. The woman on the phone was also very courteous and nice.

I've recently moved into the neighborhood and discovered the 40-some Thai restaurants in the area. I've tried about six and this is absolutely the BEST. Decent prices and excellent food. Fast delivery.
