Deteriorating service
Been eating in and ordering from this restaurant since i moved to the neighborhood 10 yrs ago. Service is deteriorating, longer waiting time for delivery, and they could have hired employees that speak and understand minimum english to be able to take orders and answer questions. Even worse, the last 2 times i ordered by phone, they were rude.

Must have done renovation and changed management and chef. The staff are friendly and attentive, but the manager can be rude. Ordered Pad Thai that came out mushy and tasting nothing like Pad Thai. The manager was behind the cashier counting money the whole time and was the first to run up with the tab in his hand once I finished eating. Checked the amount I had put in, never asked if I needed change and walked away w/o even saying a "thank you" or so much as a smile.

Very solid Thai
I order from here all the time. Love the Masaman Curry, among other dishes. Have never been disappointed.

This review takes into account that fact that I have been a loyal customer for about 2 years until about 2 months ago. Apparently, the place either has new owners or a new chef since when I called to inquire about a missing item in my order, the original owners were no longer there and never bothered to call back -even when leaving my phone number. About 2 months ago, I placed an order for usual Pad Thai and a fish dish. The fish was burned so bad when I tried to eat the unburned side I couldn't. And I was so hungry when I went for the Pad Thai, the portion was about half full. Needless to say, the food was not as tasty nor well prepared as it used to be.

Mediocrity at a pretty price
Recently ordered in from Wondee Siam based upon the reviews giving it a rave at wonderously low prices. The $30 tab for two seem nice until the reality struck that for half that price mediocre Chinese would have left me satiated and flush. But now all I sense is shame for once again betting on an unknown place that offers pretty much the same old thing for more than it's worth. To top it off the same old thing is better at other THAI's. My advice look elsewhere for Thai. New York has better to offer, for less.

Love this place
At least twice a week I order out for lunch or dinner here. Great food, always consistant, always delicious. Wondee Siam II (up the street) has a more attractive atmosphere and takes credit cards. Both highly recomended.
