stingy on the meat--lots of onions as filler
I ordered the lunch special for $7.50. Seemed like a good deal. I ordered the Tender Ginger Chicken. Literally over half of the dish was comprised of sauteed onions--there was very little chicken. The flavor was good, just wish they hadn't bulked up the meal with onions.

best dessert
The food is great! When it's marked spicy it's spicy like it should be. Most of all they have the best desert Black Sticky Rice w/Coconut Milk. I've eaten Thai food all over the city and this is the only place that has it. It's delicious not too sweet just hits the spot!

Value Thai in HK
A Thai friend recommended Wondee as the best Thai food in the area. As I read the menu, someone walking by stopped and said how great the food is for a reasonable price. I stepped in to the small dining room with a simple and warm atmosphere. The diners were all Asian and that seemed a good sign. The waitress was prompt but not overly friendly. I ordered the Ped Jae Gra Prow - spicy hot. It arrived soon and was nice and hot. The vegetables were fresh and not over cooked and the seitan was juicy. Spicing was great but not very hot. Serving size was good - enough and not too much. The Thai iced tea is really tasty and the serving is generous and the price is great. Will definitely go back next time I am in the neighborhood. It's not Queens, but really good for Manhattan.

Fantastic Find!!
Found this place by accident one day and I am glad we stumbled upon it. It is fabulous. A great meal at a great deal. We had the lunch combo and it was fantastic. The food was served fast and hot. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would recommend this place, and have recommended this place, to anyone who is looking for good Thai food. Go... you won't be disappointed.

An average for an average
I dont know what the fuzz is all about the Wondee Siam, but I personally think that it was just a regular cuisine. I have tried their padthai which is red due to the use of paprika, and their chicken basil which tasted like sweet basil, instead of spicy. Curry is nothing but sweet. Far further from the original cuisine. Their waitresses are not quite friendly with the customers. I wasn't greeted when I walked in with my girlfriend. It was an experience that we would not experience again.

Great Intimate Space with Delicious Thai
It's late at night right now, but I feel so compelled to tell everyone how good of an impression this new restaraunt on 10th left me. It's a small space, but man is it cute! The seat cushion is rainbow leather, the lamps are a lotus flower made of thin cloth, and the vent shaft gives it an industrial feel. It's quite cozy and warm. The food came out in less than 3 minutes!! Hot and fresh! I had the Massaman Curry! First time I tried curry like that, and loved it! The thai iced tea is huge. And, if you get anything, order the fried ice cream! $5 for a scoop of battered ice cream with strawberry syrup sounds steep, but it's the presentation that will amaze you! They light it on fire right on your table with a bit of brandy! Delicious, and I will be a regular here!
