Wondee Siam, when it was just a little tiny place, was full of flavor, maybe full of oil, but still full of flavor. Now, I think that the authenticity is gone. There is a lack of robustness in its curries and the noodles dishes are just ok. I still think it is a great place to eat at when you need a Thai fix, but I think some of the other Thai places in HK are making more flavorful food. Overall though, Wondee is a place I always go back to because I know that the food will be fresh and good.

I was very disappointed with the taste and quality of my takeout. I got their special masaman curry with noodles, and the dish was oily, greasy, and unappetizing. Egg noodles had a funky smell; I think I could do a better job boiling some cheap pasta from a supermarket Wasn't worth waiting for 15 min for it..

Went there after attending the Daily Show, rounded off the evening nicely primarily because the staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was pretty good but not awesome. Reasonably priced wine list that had some tasty wines. Overall at sub $200 for 4 people and 2 bottles of wine and beers and lots of food incl 20% tip was good value.

have dined in and ordered from here many times (live in the n'hood). always hot and fresh. the wondee sampler is an excellent value and everything is delicious! i crave the mango sticky rice on a regular basis and hate when it's not in season!

I just had my order delivered - the food was piping hot and just delicious! Usually order from Wondee I but decided to try II. Though the food was really good as what I would expect from Wondee chains. However, when I asked for a dollar back from the delivery guy ($21 order + $3 tip) he reminded me it's 21 dollar order as if he is asking for 4 dollar tip! I got my dollar back but I thought it was really forward and inappropriate! I think $3 is generous especially the restaurant is two blocks away!

My family and I go here twice a month. The food is excellent. From a field of MANY Thai restaurants in Hell's Kitchen, we always prefer this place (or their sister take-out restaurant). The service is friendly and we never wait (we eat early, though). Kitchen is fast. They even prepare a set of "training" chopsticks (with paper and rubber band) plus serve water in a cup with a lid for my 6-year-old. The Squid in Love and the Pad Thai are our favorites. Good Thai beer, too!

I was introduced to Wondee Siam II about 2 years ago by a friend and I never looked back since. I love the food here! I always try to make it to this spot when I''m in the neighborhood. Every time I eat here I'm never dissappointed. The ambience may not that impressive here, but the food is! Remember: ...You can't taste ambience. Don't miss out!
