Had the pleasure to lunch there a month ago. The Succulent Tongue Dijon Grilled Sandwich was a taste party. Probably the best sandwich I had in a while. I bit pricey for $16, but worth every penny. Nice quite place. The place is Kosher, which doesn't exactly make any difference to me, but some might care. Recommend - YES, Highly

My husband & I had the pleasure of visiting this lovely restaurant on March 1st last. I found the restaurant on the Menupages website, and am I glad I did. The meal was superb, I've never tasted steak like I had that evening. Neither of us being Jewish, and having never eaten kosher food before, the waitress took the time to explain the various rules, and how the meat is processed differently, and wow, what a difference in taste and texture. Wonderful! There was also a great atmosphere in the restaurant, and only for the fact that they close on Fridays, we would definitely have returned for our last night in New York. We highly recommend it and very much look forward to returning the next time we visit the Big Apple.

Always treated well when I eat there, and the food is always great, would recommend to anyone, they also have the very hard to get OK kosher certification.

I thought the food and service were excellent. Took my 10 year old son in and was treated superbly.

I came here with my kids for dinner. The food was very tasty and well presented. But $16 for a burger. I asked if there was a kids menu and the answer was no. I guess the owners do not want family business, because this Dad ain't going back.

My wife and I recently visited New York city and we had the great pleasure of visiting your establishment and enjoying a very pleasant meal. We are from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and I believe it was on July 24th or thereabouts that we ate in your restaurant. We are not Jewish nor have we ever experience Kosher food prior to this occasion. Upon entering the dining room area we did sense for some reason that the other occupants were a bit curious about us but at all times they were friendly glances and once again we were feeling quite comfortable with our decision to dine. The owner/manager escorted us to our table and was polite and welcoming. The waitress was a young pretty lady and she was equally polite and made both my wife and I very welcome. I may be going on and on about the politeness and the welcoming that we received but we feel that is a major part of settling in and enjoying a good meal. We placed our meal orders and were overwhelmed by the amount i.e. large portion of food on the plates. The food was indeed delicious and we couldn't for the life of us finish what was placed in front of us. I have a large appetite but still couldn't do the meal justice by emptying the plate. The young lady asked us if we had Kosher food prior to this visit and we naturally both said no but remarked on how pleased we were with the quality. The young lady then went on to say that some people enter the restaurant and when they see that Kosher food is being served, they turn around and walk out, their loss because it was top quality food, well prepared and presented. We were in Manhattan for five days and this without doubt was the finest meal we had both in quality and value. The service and friendliness was among the best we have encountered in our long lives. I had a beer with my meal and decided to have another. The young lady returned to our table with the beer and said this beer is on me. I couldn't believe my ears.

This place was great! The food was excellent...not just for kosher food, but in general. I'm not Jewish and this is still one of my new favorite restaurants. My entire (Southern!) family enjoyed it. I have to highly recommend the cookie dessert. It really blew me away, so much so that when I can't afford to eat there, I'll still stop by just for that. While it is not cheap, it is definitely worth the value...Especially considering the friendly, warm service.
