I WAS a loyal costumer at this place. But as the prices go up, the food quality has gone down. And the service is horrible. Very nasty attitudes in person and on the phone. You would think they were doing me a favor by ordering there. Need a new place to order Caribbean Food.

I tried this place while working at Mt. Sinai. It's the only authentic Caribbean restaurant I found in the area and the food was amazing. My favorite being the oxtails which were prepared just as they are in Jamaica down to the broad beans smothered in a thick sauce. They provided an ample portion. This tiny, quaint spot just may have the best Jamaican food in Manhattan.

The first time took them like one hour, the second time I ordered was like one hour and a half and that after I called to the to remind them about my order. Then the delivery man called me to come downstairs right away! Well, I tried a third time, and after an hour of waiting I called and they didn't even seem to know about my order. No apologies, no explanation, not a minimum of respect for its customers. When I told them I wanted my food in 15 minutes (i live just two tiny blocks away from them) they hang up on me. Food is just ok, There's another Jamaican place on third av and around 110th st

I finally managed to try this place after more than a year of wanting to order only to find it was Sunday. The Jerk chicken is simply amazing! I've posted to facebook, and have recommended that friends downtown drive up for takeout. The chicken is that impressive. The patties are excellent, but they are not made in-house. Rather the patties are dough marked "G K B" on top for Golden Krust Bakery, which makes the best patties in NYC.

I just had Jerk Chicken today for lunch. It is amazingly tasty, flavorful to the bone and not too spicy. The peas and rice are thee best! I haven't had anything else on the menu but I can safely assume all their food is great.
