Consistently great
I'm not a wine snob, but I like a nice glass or two (or three) of wine with friends after work. Wined Up is an unfortunate name, but a welcoming wine bar without pretense. I'm usually there by six and leave by 8 the few times I've been there past 8, it tends to get crowded, so definitely try to get reservations. The waitstaff seemed very knowledable about the wine and the tapas, and always made recommendations based on my tastes, not the price tag. I haven't eaten there, outside of the cheese platter and fries (both are fantastic), but Punch, their sister restaurant, isn't known as a great culinary hotbed.

Always a good experience
I've gone to this place on and off for a year now, and even though the management changes from time to time, I've taken friends, business associates, and visitors to this place and each time we go, it's enjoyable. If you act interested in wine, and you ask the server's opinion, they suggest all kinds of wines to try based on what you like. They don't choose the most expensive glass on the menu either. Here's a tip - try the flight - with so many by the glass choices, it's a fun way to experience a wine pallette. The food is hit or miss, but one time I sent an item back, and they didn't charge for it (which was appropriate) and replaced it with another menu item at no charge. Overall, I keep coming back to this spot and find it to be great.

great wine bar- not over priced
I have been to many wine bars in the city. This one has a great atmosphere and decor. The food is satisfactory and the wine list is extensive. This place met all my needs and i have gone back a few times since.

Are you kidding?
This place is really, really terrible. The service was a joke and the food was inedible. There are much better wine bars in town, do not bother with this one.

shamefully disappointing for a winebar
i went to this place with a group of my friends after reading the great reviews and i must say i was so disappointed. the service was good but the food lacked taste and was very overpriced for the tiny portions that were given to us. i ordered the pizza which was blah and the cheese platter which literally only came as a few small bite size cheese bits . for a wine bar, i expected more in a cheese platter and a tastier selection. im not sure why this place has gotten such great reviews. it doesn't come close to some of the other winebars i've been to.

Great Wine
The food and service were average but the wine selections and atmoshphere were great! We were given a great recomendation by the hostess as our waitress was no where in sight for most of our time there. I would go back for drinks and probably skip the food.

Great place
Went there twice with my wife during my recent stay in NY. Loved the wine, food and service.
