I never review places on here but felt compelled after reading some of the awful reviews for this restaurant. I am shocked that there are so many terrible reviews. As a fat kid who loves burgers, I can say confidently, "Best Burger in Williamsburg!!!". Dumont is the most ridiculously overpriced, hipster-stroking restaurant I have ever eaten at. WB's burgers blow them away, especially for the price and their fries are "Tits". Also, they serve the best Jalapeno Poppers. I've lived in the neighborhood since 2006 and I am well-versed in the restaurant game. The service in most Williamsburg restaurants is typically smug, slow and makes you feel as if you are imposing on someone by eating at certain places (La Superior is the worst of all). Williamsburger provides the opposite experience. The servers are very polite and, while the place seems understaffed, they have always been accomodating. I know that everyone has "off" days now and then so I don't doubt that some of the negative comments on here may be true but, in my experience, if you want a quality, fresh, well-cooked burger in this neighborhood, Williamsburger is, hands-down, the smart choice. Their delivery service leaves something to be desired but the food is excellent.

The blue cheeseburger with vidalia onions is the best here. However, the wait staff is ALWAYS understaffed. We went on weeknight and the place was packed with only one waitress, and no bartender. Waited 30 minutes on our food that never came. Went to manager to cancel my order, who ignored me. We walked out without paying for a beer. Some of the poorest service I ever had.

I have to say I'm pretty picky and am extremely satisfied with my experience. I ordered the cheeseburger and chicken fingers for my kids. Delicious!. I would have given them a 5.0 but for the fries which were only ok. I ordered a black and white shake, awesome. This was a delivery order by the way, which we all know usually isn't great, this however was really great. A change in fries would make it perfect...skinny fries please.

The place is great. I have ordered several times and dined in a handful of times. Always a good experience with the service and delivery. A tad over priced but overall it great.

I went in for dinner the other night and i was shocked at how disappointed I was. I ordered a burger and the vinegar malt fries. The burger alone cost $11 and the waitress asked me if I wanted to add any topping, I said just the standard lettuce tomato onion was fine and she didn't even tell me it was going to be an extra $2 for something that should come on every burger. I like my burger medium rare and it got to the table so cooked through that I wouldn't even eat it if I like it well done. Soninsat there eating my fries which where drenched I'n vinegar and at one point became inedible without having a burger to take a break form the eye watering amount of vinegar. When my burger finally got to me it was missing the tomato so I asked for what I rightfully paid for, and the waitress brings me a single slice of tomato on a napkin on her open palm. I was beyond disgusted. And the irony of it all was last year I applied for a job there but they told me I knew nothing of the restaurant industry, well clearly I know better than who they hired.

despite many complaints in terms of service and staff, i do think its the best burger in the neighborhood. in my opinion, its better than dumont, although both are good. williamsburger's burger is deliciously messy, juicy, and the 3 or 4 times i have eaten there, its been cooked perfectly. the meat is very salty which i don't mind, but i can see others maybe taking issue. that being said, the staff seems devoid of any joy. i have avoided delivery completely because the one time i did call, they informed me they had a $15 dollar minimum. even though the menu I had clearly said $10, they told me it was an old menu. at that point, i had just moved to the neighborhood a month earlier, how old could it be? when eating in the restaurant, the servers i have had never smile. no i don't need my waitress to coddle me, but i don't think it would hurt to be pleasant. i also think it is truly obnoxious to charge for lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles. really?
