Bring a candy bar
Nobody expects a waitress in Williamsburg to be 100% on her game on a Saturday morning but I find it a little absurd that ours forgot about us completely. It was a good 45 minutes between the time we were seated and when we actually started eating, and after we finished I was hungry again by the time she brought out our check. Don't drink your coffee too fast, you won't get a refill. Order eggs sunny-side-up and you'll be lucky if they don't run right off your plate. If you go, I suggest sitting at a table near the front, preferably within reaching distance of the kitchen, as you might have to reach for the food yourself.

Good cheap eats
I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The prices were low, the food was bountiful and not that bad, and the service is so friendly. The delivery is always punctual (except on weekend brunch hours which is normal), and I would probably go there more often if it wasn't more than a casual walk for me. But this place is definitely my go to take out place for traditional fare.

Bypass for delivery
We work in the neighborhood and placed an order for delivery. They said 20 minutes (we are a few blocks away) and one hour later we were delivered a hamburger that was overcooked, cheap meat (for $9.95 and menu states $8.95) we asked for pepper jack cheese and they dumped red pepper flakes on top of swiss cheese (and they offer pepper jack cheese - there own version I guess). The french fries were cold, limp and greasy. They sent and charged us for soy milk that was never even mentioned when we placed the order. When we called to complain...the guy who answered said "oh no...do you want another burger". I said no and he said "OK...sorry" and hung up! This neighborhood is good food restaurant challenged that does lunch time delivery as it is...we were happy to see this new addition and are now disappointed once again.

Not what I was expecting
Ordered food on a sunday afternoon. Read the menu and ordered the Willburg salad. The menu said it was "grilled chicken, mixed greens, cucumber, carrot, and goat cheese" I got a salad of romaine lettuce, 1 cucumber, 2 tomatos, and grilled chicken. The chicken was excellent, but when I'm paying $9 for a salad, I expect to get what I ask for. Where was the goat cheese and carrot? When you call a place blindly, you hope for the best. The best was not delivered.

Best in the area
I am a regular there (at least 4 times a week) and love the food, service, and their espresso bar. A little bit pricey..But hey you gotta to pay for quality. I think their portions are very good. 2 days ago, I had pesto chicken pasta and it was delicious.. This cafe upgraded Grand Street for its food, service, and upscale atmosphere. I work in midtown as a server and after work I go hang out at Willburg Cafe. Its great feelings to be there.

LEAVE HUNGRY
While the coffee is very good, the help friendly and the food is tasty, you will leave hungry. Portions only a small bird would find ample. Prices too high for most to pay for the fare. I tried the lunch special. Not worth the trip.

great coffee, good food!
I love this place! The coffee is bold and rich. I am convinced that it is one of the best in the city. Food is amazing too. I have so far tried shrimp wrap and penne with grilled vegetables, and both were really good! I got full but could not stop eating. It's at the corner of Leonard and Grand. You would hardly miss it.
