This place is great if you know what to order. The sandwiches and appetizers are pretty darn good, and the price is right for them. The ribs and BBQ stuff is not worth it- Blue Smoke is way better for close to the same price on those. BUT again, the sandwiches are really tasty, and for such a good price, it's worth it! Also, for the record, I have been there 4 times in the last 2 months and have never had to wait.

7pm: Order placed 8:15: Told "Order left at 8:08, should be there any minute." 8:45: Told food was 5-minutes away--shouldn't be cold since it was in a "warming bag." 9pm: Food arrives stone cold. No apology from the manager. P.S. We live 8 blocks from Wildwood and HAD been regular customers since they opened.

Ribs are very good. The place has a very warm feeling at nite, so I would recomend the place for ribs and beers. Wine is overpriced like everyplace in NY.

went with our twenty something son and his crew for a birthday dinner... the ribs (dry rub) were awesome. atmosphere fun and friendly. service a bit disorganized (brought entrees with appetizers??!) but overall everything was good and delicious...

Went to Wildwood for the first time for a birthday dinner. The table wasn't ready at our reservation time but the management, host and waiter more than made up for it with comped drinks, apps and a huge dessert sampling for the birthday boy. The atmosphere is fun and casual and the food was tasty. The portions are very large. I'd go back, especially since they clearly care about customers.

It took over two hours for my order to arrive. I called after 75 min and was told they were busy but that it had left. I called after 1:45 and was told the delivery guy left 45 min ago and they can't reach him on cell. I was then told by a Wildwood manager that whether or not it actually came they would not be charging me. I was specifically told she would take care of it with Seamless Web. To date, the charge has not been reversed. Obviously when it came after 2hrs, it was cold and gross. I wouldn't have bothered leaving review as I do like the food in the restaurant, but it annoys me to no end that she told me i wouldn't be charged and now i have to waste my time dealing with this. Also, delivery guy said he was only out 20 min and that it was taking long time because he didn't have a bike. If you can't handle delivery business that's fine, don't deliver. No excuse for having delivery business and taking 2 hrs to send a soggy mess.

Starting with the basics- absolutely delicious mac & cheese (one of the best in the city), amazing creamed spin. & the sweetest corn I have EVER tasted. The potato skins are also incredible.... having said this, the portions are sort of small and pretty pricey too.... the only complaint I really have is that the place is too busy without enough staff and our waitress got our order slightly wrong and acted annoyed when we wanted it taken off the bill (she never showed up during the meal to take this extra food away).... and it wasn't eaten.... anyhow- mixed experience but, the place is fun, loud but, fun.... if you can excuse these minor issues....the food is super.... and that is the most important piece of the pie for me (no pun ;0)
