A BBQ Pit on Park
Food was great. Ribs were tender and tasty.... Try the Rib Sampler...you get a nice variety of flavors. The Spicy Shrimp "Diablo" was quite tasty...loved the spice. Cool place to kick back enjoy drinks and have some Good American BBQ

Spare Yourself
Food arrived totally cold. The bland bland ribs were just bones w barely any meat. The mac & cheese was beyond horrid & entirely inedible. Shrimp with jalapeño & bacon might have been ok if it hadn't been entirely incinerated before it arrived here cold as an ice cube. And the $15 chopped salad w chicken was a treasure hunt for tiny little chicken bits in a sea of rusty lettuce. It was all so shockingly bad that I had to post this review and hopefully spare others from making the mistake of spending nearly $60 (like we just did).

Acutally pretty good
I went in rolling my eyes after reading all the reviews, but was pleasantly suprised. The food was good (or at least better than some of the other BBQ in the neigborhood), I liked the atmosphere, drink prices were reasonable, and there was some value as well. I don't know what other peoples experience was on this board, but I'd return. Afterall it's just BBQ.

Poor service
Service was really slow. We had to ask for stuff multiple times before getting it. The drinks werent made well. We even got mis-charged, but left without correcting it because we knew it would take too long to fix. Food was ok. It's a cool space.

Not recommended
Just wrapped up eating here...one word : cold. Brisket was cold. Nacho was cold. Salad came after the ribs after we reminded them of it. Espresso machine broke so no cappucino. But at least the corn bread was good.....and if you like cold ribs... The flava was ok....

If you like to be seen...
I do not understand why this place continues to get positive reviews for food. If you have never eaten barbecue before, you should not comment on the quality of your only experience. This place has great atmosphere and great location, but the service is lackluster and the food is average at best. Great for a meeting, but not very good if you like barbecue.

Good Looks, Bad Taste
Good place to go for a drink on Park Ave but don't expect real BBQ. After a few times here I can say the ribs were so tough and overdone it was a joke, I could barely cut the baby backs with a saw. BBQ wings are OK, they just douse them in sauce. Good drink place and atmosphere but thats it.
