Fab Place
This is a gem of a place. The food is asian vegetarian, but the setting is much nicer and the presentation far more sophisticated than most of the chinese veggie places just south of here. The atmosphere is very peaceful, great for chatting with friends or studying. The lunch specials are an absolute bargain. The sister restaurant in Brooklyn is excellent too. I never understand why this place is so quiet though.

don't let "vegetarian" food scare you!
Wild Ginger is delicious. Even if you don't "like" vegetarian food, the things they manage to do with tofu and seitan are quite extraordinary. My fave is the General Tso's Soy Protein. It's remarkable and a really good fake chicken. The prices are a little high, but the food is great, as is the service.
