Big Mistake
We waited fifteen minutes standing next to an empty table which they couldn't take time to set up, another ten minutes for the menu. And then they brought the vegetables first. Another twenty minutes for the soup and another twenty minutes for the main course. The fried oysters were ice cold. Poor.

Subpar Service=Disenchanting Experience
Not overly enthused. Slow subpar service. Pricey menu for what it is. I waited nearly 40 minutes for mussels and a salad. The shrimp in the seafood salad was less than fresh. The service wasn't attentive. Just a disenchanting experience overall. I'll travel down the street next time to experience much better. believe me, there is much better. Don't waste your time~

Poor delivery
I ordered a pound of uncooked shrimp and asked them to be cleaned with the tails taken off. The bag of shrimp showed up one hour later with the tails still on the shrimp. I then had to de-vein the shrimp myself because nobody ever cleaned them. Never order take out from this place because after you hang up the phone they go get your shrimps from the delivery bin.

Great Scallops
I've been a few times - it is a very small hole in the wall but the food is amazing - I keep going back for the Miso Glazed Scallops and mashed potatoes. The Black Cod and Oysters are very good as well. Highly recommend

Disappointed
We came upon Wild Edibles about a month ago and had the most wonderful experience there. We started out with a great crusty baguette ( even asked the waiter where it came from) and totally enjoyed the grilled swordfish and scallops. The service was terrific and we couldn't wait to return. Tonight we decided to take a couple of friends with us. We had raved about the freshness of the fish and the great service. When we got there, we ordered a bottle of Pellegrino for the table. The waitress seemed a little unsure of the availability of the sparkling water but said she would check. She told us that they had one bottle downstairs and that she would pour us four glasses. We were busy talking and didn't notice that she had poured from something other than a green bottle. After tasting the water, it was clear that she didn't know what Pellegrino was and served us spring water instead. She apologized and said she was just filling in for another waiter and didn't know the stock. She assured us we wouldn't be charged. Then we asked for some bread. We were anticipating that great baguette, when a warmed over, soggy piece of some sort of Italian bread was served. It was far inferior to that which we had before. We proceeded to order from the menu and were told that they were out of clam chowder, crab cakes and something else that I can't recall. We placed our orders which included two for the wonderful swordfish we had had on our last visit. When the food arrived, we were served very small, thin, over cooked portions of swordfish. We just couldn't believe we were in the same restaurant. Now I don't know if the chef was out or it was an off night. We are hesitant to go back to what we thought was going to be one of our staple restaurants in Murray Hill.
