After reading all the fab reviews off their website, I was really excited to try the Union Sq location out. Note: the union sq location only delivers at this time. I placed my delivery yesterday on the website, and called back after 50 minutes. I received frosty phone service, and when I asked when my food would come, he said, "soonish......." A few minutes later my food came, and when I went to get it the delivery man looked completely miscast and peeved to be standing in front of my building. It was surreal and strange, to say the least. And the food? It wasn't worth $9 (?!) for my mushroom sandwich. There was hardly any ingredient. I suppose they threw in a free sandwich (the ham and avocado sandwich) because it took 50 minutes for my food to come, but the free sandwich did NOT live up to par. The sandwiches are skimping out on ingredients, and the service is very poor. I called again today to place an order (hoping to give them a SECOND chance with a different sandwich order), and after 40 minutes called to find out what the hold up was. Was told by the same frosty person that the Union Square location was closed (the website specifies the location is open on Sundays). He didn't even apologize. I was stunned by this service.
