Brussel Sprouts
This restaurant is a gem, I wish fewer people knew about it because it's always a pain to get seated. It's crowded for a reason--the food is very flavorful and very fresh. Before I ate at Westville, I always assumed brussel sprouts were eaten primarily for their nutritive value. Now I crave them.

Solid Food, Poor Customer Service
Westville is a nice neighborhood place that seems to have gotten a big head. I USED to order about twice a week. Westville decided I didn't meet a minimum, none listed on the menu. One night a woman refused to delived the two blocks to me and hung up on me. I called the manager the next day who apoligized and acknowledged that he delivered to me all the time. He told me to tell them I was a regular customer and there would never be a problem again. Of course three weeks later I ran into the same problem. A young man refused to send my order over becasue I was 80 cents short of the minumum, still not listed on the menu. It is not only the refusal to delivered the food, hell I understand policy even if it doesn't make sense, but it is the uniformly poor attitude that dismays me. It appears that Westville has adopted a "why do we have to care, we're popular" attitude. A nice neighborhood place gone wrong. Don't be surprised when neighborhood folks start going elsewhere.

Smoked Mac&Cheese!
I love westville PRIMARILY for the smoked macaroni & cheese - although I have yet to be disappointed by any dish there ~ this is the reason I go!

Casual fresh affair
One of the best restaurants I've tried in the unpretentious, causal atomsphere dining category. Food was fresh and tasty but not heavy. Service was really friendly espeically the kitchen staff. Overall a bargain for the price!

Worth salivating over
Sure, it's a little crowded. And, yes, you will probably have to wait outside a good 15 or 20 minutes before you can be seated. But it's also true that the food, the price, and service are among the best in the city. By all means, order the daily Market Plate with its you-pick-'em assortment of four vegetables so perfectly prepared in their own ingenious way that you may fall over. Seriously, you will never scorn a vegetable again. (Good to know: it's a plate easily shared by two, even stretched out to three.) I'm a big fan of their battered cod (which shows up in both the po'boy sandwich and fish & chips plate) -- the fish is always super fresh with large chunks of moist white meat in an appealingly light, crispy coating. Add to that some zesty, homemade tartar sauce and a bun so pillowy that you might forget you ate it, and you have a sandwich to come back for, again and again. Their wine selection is always changing and always a good deal. If you have room, get a homemade, oversized Oreo cookie for the table and leave feeling like Mom loves you best.

Turkey Burger
The food and service (take out or eat in) has always been consistently great. The turkey burgers are by far the most incredible anywhere. The food is fresh, interesting and made well. In the 20 or so times I have eaten here I have never been disappointed.

Love westville
Westville is consistently good, and all of the items from the market are fantastic. I live down the street and order from here at least once a week. It's pretty small, and you might have to wait on the bench outside, but it's worth it.
