Delivery is the best option, seeing as the restaurant is so small. Hot dogs are the best in the city, as is the grilled corn on the cob. French toast not a great option, but overall everything I've had there is pretty amazing!

Such small steaks that we had to laugh out loud when we were served. But the food is not bad! --especially vegetables. Prices appear slightly cheaper than comparable places in the area... until you see the size of portions.

I can't figure out what the deal is here people line up everday to sit on each others lap in the tiny dining area for ok overpriced food. The crowd is always very young so there must be something they know that i have forgotten over the years about an enjoyable dining experience. To avoid the crowds i attempted takeout a few times. Each time i was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. Each time i was greeted? Accosted? by 4 people jammed in behind the counter that seemed really overwhelmed or confused by the system and was repeatedly asked by the waitress to get out of the way (after surviving the battle to reach the back of the restaurant!) i was told the food wasn't ready and to come back in 15 more minutes and each time when i got it home the order was nowhere near correct. When i told them of the problem the owner/manager? did seek out my phone number and call me to apologize. I accepted and tried it again and - you got it - they gave me somebody elses order again.

Went on a weekday and had to wait around a bit with my two girlfriends, but finally got seated at a cozy table in the tiny dining room after maybe about a 30 min. wait. The soundtrack of '50s and '60s hits plus the menu of trendy-boardwalk options (hot dogs, burgers, fries, salads) is refreshing and friendly -- its like stepping out of the city and into a suburban Main St. storefront. Even though it was a chilly early April evening, I could have sworn that it was a warm summer night, based solely on the atmosphere. Looking forward to returning.

Yum. The delivery is great - it comes fast, everything is still hot, and the food is terrific. The Niman Ranch "Fearless Franks" are the best hot dogs in the city, the beef burger beats out Corner Bistro, and there are always homemade cookies.

They cook just like my mom- and that's a VERY good thing! It's cozy & the staff is always really sweet / helpful / & attentive. I just moved to teh neighborhood 2 weeks ago & have allready eaten there 4 times & ordered out twice! I'm in love! Try the rocketshake with your brunch! For dinner it's all about the fresh market plate of veggies, and or course a devan for dessert ;)
