Westville

The Mac & Cheese was pretty good, but not worthy of the rave reviews The space, both kitchen and dining area, is minute. To use the bathroom, you have to go through the tiny kitchen, winding your way between the cooks in the narrow (maybe 6 ft. wide) kitchen. The floor was slippery and covered in food. The lilliputian bathroom that is used by patrons and staff and is literally inches from the cooks. The trip is rather harrowing and certainly unappetizing. I got the rest of my meal to go.

This may be one of the best mac-n-cheese meals ever. Their turkey burger is goo too, quite filling.

I order in and go to Westville often. Not only is the food delicious and fresh, the service is always great. It's so pleasant to call and order in. When you eat at Westville, it's the same service. One time we were waiting for a table and they offered us wine in paper cups as we waited. I LOVE this place!

I love the veggie burger, but almost every time I have been to the restaurant on W 10 Streer, the atmosphere was frenetic. It's a tiny space and workers are racing up and down the aisles, in and out, in and out the front door. This is not relaxing. When I mentioned this to my waiter and asked it might be the time I was dining, he said, snippily, "you complained about that the last time you were here." Well, excuse me! That remark was unnecessary. Other small places manage to operate without all this commotion. And in winter it is cold with the door opening and closing every few minutes.

Simple but a pleasant surprise

Just came back from dinner there - absolutely delicious. Loved their mac and cheese with bacon, and their burger with fries. Love that it's on a portuguese muffin. Place was packed but we got seated relatively quickly (20 min). Service was quick and attentive. Definitely going back there, hopefully soon.

A weekly must for us!
