We love, LOVE, Westville...though we do believe the one in the east village should be called Eastville, but that is neither here nor there. Awesome fresh food. Delicious vegetables. And teh waiter is worth the price of admission. We believe him to be a character from a John Hughes movie. Please keep it on the dl, because we do not want our favorite spot blown up. One love. C. Okay, I've been going to the original Westville for years and I was glad this place opened up because it's closer to where I live. There are also certain things that are better about Westville East. For example, not as much of a ridiculous wait (although that can change) and there is a lot more room. But one thing bothered me about our visit. The FOOD! The steak wasn't cooked properly, it was still a little bloody and we asked for medium It also had a ton of fat on it. IT was impossible to chew. Also, my Cobb salad was a ehhh...I think they put too much dressing or something because it wasn't as appealing. Overall, I found my first trip disappointing, you don't want to spend a lotta money and get a sub par meal. I'm going to give it another chance b/c i love Westville but if htings don't work out I'm probably going to head back to the original one.

I have been wanting to go to the original Westville for over a year, but it's always a zoo and I'm not in the West Village all that often. I was fortunate enough to go to the new location yesterday and I'm still thinking about what a great meal it was. Do not pass up the vegetables from the market, especially the artichoke hearts with parmesan! The tuna salad sandwich was excellent, with very little mayo; I also loved the dressing that came on the side salad, sort of a creamy mustard dill vinaigrette. My girlfriend had the turkey burger, which was seasoned just right and came on a tasty portugese muffin. Our server was super sweet and the atmosphere was very cozy and inviting. I definitely will be going back!

This is the same restaurant as the old westville on bleecker and 10th, same menu and everything, and I love it! The food is cheap and awesome and the service is friendly but busy. Great value, but they do run out of things sometimes so earlier is better. Great neighborhood place though!

so far at this location, i've only done takeout once, which i picked up as its across the street. whoever answered the phone was really cool. offered to call back when the food was ready. nice touch. the wait was 20 minutes or so, which didn't seem long, esp since inside it was really busy. i got the turkey chili (large), which looked a little small for the price when i picked it up, i must admit. when i got it home and out, it filled a cereal bowl so it was more than i'd thought and, although i could eat more, it was the right amount. first time eating this: it was amazing. i'll def order again. overall it was a great experience and its perfectly located for Avenue A which drops off for food down this way.
