Don't come here expecting the food to be organic. Unfortunately, Westville (ALL of the Westvilles) use hardly any organic ingredients at all. On a recent visit, when I asked what was organic, only the salad greens were. Everything else was commercial, pesticide sprayed garbage. New York seems to be full of restaurants like this one which appear as if they'd be serving organic food, and aren't. Another example is Peacefood Cafe, on the upper west side.

i'm a tough one to please for brunch, but this place hit all the marks: delicious baked french toast; bright, cheery atmosphere; fabulous egg frittata with lox, asaparagus, and DILL goat cheese; generous portions; killer sides (try the kale!); and AMAZING frozen mint lemonade! brunch at this place made my day. can't wait to go again!

I love Westville! The newest location in Chelsea does not disappoint, serving simple, fresh traditional American dishes. The seasonal market of vegetables is outstanding. In addition to the daily specials, the standard menu offers a fantastic variety [salads, fish, burgers, grilled pork chop, etc.]. Don't forget dessert! Scrumptious homemade classics like carrot cake, fruit pies and a homemade cookie sandwiches. My favorite visits are for weekend brunch, everything is so good! Daily scramble specials, Benedict with smoked salmon, market veggies under eggs over easy, homemade waffles with fruit, breakfast burrito, etc.. Cheerful atmosphere. Staff is always attentive yet laid back. Food arrives in a timely manner and is all reasonably priced. Go today.
